The snap alert needs a stickier tape, maybe you could use double faced automotive molding tape, it's very sticky. The box make a big difference to, the mice can't get on the side of the trap. As always a great job!
I would love one of these for a live catch trap, I have about 6 separate confirmed mice that move around my kitchen in the suburbs and I would love to get an alert cause that box trap I use gets real dirty if I miss a day

I've been tossing my caught mice into the field behind my house. They disappear overnight. Some varmint seems to come around every night to see if there are any mice vittles to eat. There's a variety of scavengers like coyotes, owls, skunks, possums, raccoons, hawks, feral cats, weasels, and who knows what.
@@markeholbrook Just did a quick gander on amazon (Canada) and the cheapest trail camera is $59 bucks (so about $45 US). Sounds like a cheap price to find out what's out there spiriting away your cadavers…
I am so happy to see the coyote. I'm a truck driver and I try not to hit them when they run out in front of me, but I see many dead on the side of the road.
That is a pretty smart setup to get around youtube issues. Thanks for sharing and I guess we have another idea for those who only come around once a day.
