I got this game for the Wii as well as the film on DVD for Christmas many years ago and I played through it over and over into the new year. watching the film on rainy nights and falling asleep to it... damn I wish I could relive those days from my childhood. That was the best time of my life
So unfortunate that the player didn't utilize apparition very well. It can be used to jump over the barricade or flee backward behind cover. Use it often under critical circumstances, and you'll find that you're so agile in evading those crucio spells and spotting enemy's weaknesses.

Yep, the casting mechanics in this game are completely unrealistic, even chaining spells together probably wouldn't let you cast that fast, though I would expect maybe Voldemort to be that fast. Hogwarts: Legacy definitely looks better. But, Im a huge HP fan so I would still play this game, I only have a PS4 though.

They were all honestly pretty dreadful. There hasn't been a single good Harry Potter game ever. The best of a bad bunch was Half Blood Prince but that wasn't saying a lot. I am very skeptical for Hogwarts Legacy honestly. The story sounds very cookie cutter. A late-starter to Hogwarts with mysterious extraordinary powers who just happens to be good enough to take on dark wizards and dangerous beasts combating the Goblin rebellion for some reason. I honestly think they have missed the entire thing that most people want (To experience Hogwarts and learning to be a Wizard) and are going to try and come up with an expansive original story that falls flat. I hope that I am wrong however. I would have been much more excited if I basically saw Bully:Howarts Edition (Without the bully undertones obviously but that kind of gameplay and approach)

Honestly my single biggest problem is with them starting us out at fifth year. It makes absolutely zero sense in the context of the world. It simply doesn't happen. It’s sad that when I look back on this. This game was basically infamous 2 in gameplay with Harry Potter story. Pretty nice honestly. Loved this game and the movies. Loved the Lego versions.
