Could not get it to work even after I shorted the fuse. I used it unstoppably every day for over 2 years. Guess it is time to get a new one. Thanks for the video.
Excellent details and very well done for us normal folk to comprehend. I appreciate you man.
Thank you so much for the kind words, this really motivate me to make this kind of content😊
Good job fixing the air fryer. I know now where to bring my air fryer if stops working.
good job.. I am a DIY-er and my AF101 fan just quit working.. so I need to follow your steps and see what I can do.. thanks!
I got in there like you did.. would not have figured that out without your video.. and I got the fan fixed.. that little terminal fuse was blown.. now I'm good to go.. yay! thanks!
Just followed your instructions and my fan is up and running again. Thanks a lot
Glad it helped, thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
Thank you for the video!! Mine have the same problem, it was making noise and now the fan is not spinning. I'm gonna try to fix it myself now that i have seen this video!
Hi sir, Thanks for the great video. I'm sorry for my dump question, How do I replace the fuse? Also, I am using the same model, and the fan stopped running, I suspect the fuse could be the issue (not very sure though). Could you please send me a link to purchase the best compatible fuse for this same model air fryer? Is it just like plug-and-play? so that I can give it a try by replacing the fuse (I'm from Canada).
You do not solder it, you can twist them together. Here is the link for the thermal cutoff fuse; This one is a different shape but they are the same from Amazon Canada; a.co/d/h0Ek2oT
Or you can get the exact one from Amazon USA here; a.co/d/i4aHjsK
Thank you, very useful. It’s not the same model of Ninja I have, but at least now I know which direction to go in with my non-working fan.🙏👍🏻
You're welcome & thanks for watching.
Perfect repairing instruction, thanks.
Your video saved another device, thank you very much
You're welcome 🤗
Move fan with fingers or screw driver .To check clearance before using electricity😊
Thank you! Mine isn't working right - the fan spins but it's not circulating/blowing air.
Wow ! Too much screws, it's good that I have a good licensed technician friend.
Not easy for disassembly. Good Job!
Great video and explanation 👍
Thankyou 👍
Glad you liked it and thanks for watching leaving a comment😊
Great video! Thank you! What is this type of fuse called and do you have a part number or direct link to an Amazon listing? I can’t seem to find the type you showed in the video. We’re having the exact same problem with our air fryer. 😁
Its thermal cut off fuse. This one is different shape but they are the same amazon Canada; a.co/d/h0Ek2oT

@@ruvrandomusefulvideos Thanks, I appreciate your help!
@@dancook188 You are welcome.
mine when i open it theres no thermo fuse.. 😔
Thanks for the video.
You are welcome and thanks for watching!
do we use a zip tie too or do we need the tape if so, where do we buy or name of the tape?
This is the same tape: amzn.to/4ahQnV6 but may be find the cheaper smaller roll if you can
Thank you.
the wires are insulated with varnish there will be no continuity , the fuse is transparent you can see if it cut or not besides you should investigate why the coil overheated there must be something needed to be addressed sometimes the bearing of motor is rough and faulty it increase the load which increase the draw of amps therefore increase the heat in coil
I think the cause was the fan was touching the shield, that's why it overheats. Its still working till now since I replaced the thermal fuse with no problem 🤞.
i didn’t complete the video sorry i didn’t see that part , sir you are very polite and patient a true gentleman we need more like you and less like me @@ruvrandomusefulvideos ♥♥
@@mohammed88air No worries, we can learn from each other that's why I created this channel, and you actually have a very good point, without knowing the possible cause, the chance is that the fuse will blow again.
great help
good job to you for fixing a piece of sh!t product ... the point of the story is not to buy a ninja air fryer again thanks for your time and skill.
Thanks 😂
Where to buy the fuse thanks
I got the fuse from local electronics components store or you can buy from Amazon or ebay
Thanks a lot. I'll try
