Wiping the car window with toothpaste certainly sounds a bit strange at first, but there's a really good reason for it! Because if your car windows always fog up from the inside, you can actually prevent this with toothpaste!
Put a small amount of toothpaste on a microfiber cloth and rub it over your car windows. Wipe until the toothpaste is completely absorbed and you no longer see any streaks. Now your windows should no longer fog up because the toothpaste has created a protective film over the windows.
Even better, of course, if you take Rain-X anti-fog, as I also show you in the video. But if you do not have this at home and are looking for a suitable home remedy against fogged car windows, then toothpaste is a good solution!
Try it out but also with you necessarily once!

I used rain-ex until one night when the humidity was just wrong and the windshield turned completely frosted white opaque in reaction to an oncoming car headlight. It was just a white haze. Had to slow down using the windows and never used it again.

We use the same thing on our diving masks to clean and prevent it from fogging up

I managed a Scuba shop for 6 years and the trick was to spit in the mask the night before the dive and have it dry out. What's nice it's free and always available. When you say you use the same thing, you mean RainX or the toothpaste?

I don't know if this works or not, but DO NOT use toothpaste on the inside of tinted windows.Toothpaste is abrasive and will scratch the tint

Yes, toothpaste should do the same with a bathroom mirror. I would not recommend RainX as it's all sorts of chemicals, at least read the label and decide then.
