There's an option with Sims 4 Studio that will fix the beds and stuff for you, if you for example have too much cc to go and check if they've been updated and redownload all the fixed versions, or if they just haven't been fixed by their creator do to said creator no longer being active etc. I found this out while searching for a way to fix some cc beds that were from a creator that hadn't been active in years right after HSY came out.
I had an idea for a video. You should do a every room is a different color using only your new cc. It would be a great way to see all your new cc and in their respective chosen color. 😀
I would bet that at least some of the "broken" content was from old beds. When they added pillow fighting with HSY, it broke most of the CC beds. If you didn't do a Sims4Studio batch fix for the beds or redownload the beds from the creators, they were definitely broken. But redownloading things fixes a lot of old content problems!
