    Thank you - I found this so interesting as I've lived in New Zealand since 1976 but still fascinated with stories of Nottingham, which is where I grew up but, at the time, didn't really appreciate its rich history.

    Nottingham city Council been over developer friendly , and hundreds of beautiful buildings lost to glass, and concrete box's, Drury Hill 55 years on folks still angry, Edwards yard another centuries old place partly destroyed.

      Looks like the lower end of the grave yard on the Forest to me. There are caves down there if you go and have a look at the far end going down the Mansfield Road. :-)
