My son was 14 when I got him this for Christmas 2 year ago he’s still waring it with no issues great review. Edit- 5 years and one battery later it’s still running!
@Clyde Johnson i've been wearing it for more than 8 years, in the rain, sunlight heat, beach, motorcycling, and still ticking to this day. The only thing i replaced is the broken strap and the battery. All mechanisms work just fine (except the debris that got the bezel stuck)
@@spencercrosser this was the 3rd watch I added to my collection. I’ve since gone to 11 watches including two $300 ones. Yet, this MRW-200H still gets the most wrist time probably. It’s just super comfortable and wears smaller than the size suggests.
I needed a tough watch for warehouse work so I gave this one a shot. I only bought because I thought it looked rugged. I've had zero issues with it and have used it for at least four years not bad for $20.00.
I'm wearing one right now. Love mine. Pretty tough. I love the dial. Day date is Nice. I also chose black and white easier to Read for me. My last few were indeed Casio.
One of the best watches I've ever owned. Great price (£14.99), clear readable face and bezel. Only gripe I had was the strap. Replaced it with a silicone for better comfort.. One of my two go to watches for the gym and swimming pool.
It's hard to beat a Casio! They really seem to have their game together from top to bottom. For the past few months I have seen were people are going nuts for this budget series...thank I'm going to be giving some of them out for Christmas gifts😁
Just got this watch for 11 dollars! What an awesome watch for the price! I got the white strap version. Tested it with taking a shower and washing dishes. 100 meter water resistance is real. Very comfortable on the wrist compared to my other watches which are steel. The second hand hits all the second markers. Unbeatable value!
I take mine diving. It's been down to 130 ft/ 40m in salt water. The bezel eventually gets a bit harder, buy I still use it. Best value watch I've ever had.
... I agree, this is possibly the best looking and best value for money watch on the market... I have the exact same colorway as seen here... great watch for work/DIY etc
Great review as always. The quality of product per dollar can't be beat with this watch. Many of us need a watch like this as it will take a beating and not be worse for wear.
I just bought one locally and paid $24 for it, and it is a very attractive watch! Has the look of a Luminox but far less expensive. The luminosity is "ok", but not stellar. If you want a watch that you can see clearly in the dark, I might suggest getting a different model. But for the price, you truly can't beat it! Casio makes a great watch, and they offer a wide range of timepieces for any need. I just recently purchased one of the Casio Duro watches, and I am super impressed! I have had compliments on that watch, and they ooze quality as well. You won't be disappointed.
I bought this watch a week ago for $21.99 I think it looks good it's easy to read and I also think it's the perfect size I highly recommend this watch you won't be disappointed at all
For $20 this is my favorite is my favorite casual and summer watch and summer watch. It's simple, clean, rugged looking and extreme reliable. It doesn't matter which color or variation you choose you just can't go wrong.
I like the display of this watch a lot! It reminds me of Luminox but for VERY affordable price! The only thing is that lume could be a little bit better than that.
I watched this review yesterday and ordered this watch and the green variation. I received this one same and awaiting the green is coming on Thursday. Anyway, the only gripe is the lume and it not the greatest but its not that bad I was still able to see the hands hours later in the dark. So its still a win in my book. Perfect starter watch I'll be getting one for each of my nephews
I bought one 10 years ago and still have it, the only thing is that I had to replace the strap because it cracked but besides that it's a great watch even went swimming in saltwater with it.
A year ago, I dropped my prized blue Casio Dive from a 10 story, 120 foot tall buisiness tower. Just for kicks. It has never felt so alive! Ticks as well as the day that I got it!!
Perhaps my favorite casual watch. I have a medium to small wrist and it does not wear big. It is simple casual and looks nice. It is what it is as an inexpensive watch but boy you are getting a great value.
Today I bought it just for Rs. 775, 9.3 US, at extremely cheap rate in an offer. Regular price is about 2.5 to 3 times the current offer price. 3rd one in my Casio collection.
I got it too to add oil into it, but it will be really annoying to change the battery or if the bezel needs changing or breaks. But i'm sure it'll look good !!
I read a comment on another RUclips review of this model that watch lost 3 seconds in 4 months. That’s about 10 seconds in a year. Casio watches are top notch.
I’ve just bought 7! From Argos, a popular store here in the UK. I’ve had a couple of these over the years and I’ve gifted a few. Great, tough watches. No great lume or battery indicator, only a plastic crystal, but it’d be rude not to buy one!
These things are tough. Ocean, pool, hot tub, car washing. Straps are the only weak point, but they are inexpensive. DIY battery changes seal the deal.
Great review , Thank you. I just bought a Citizen Promaster as a beater for my holiday - the next day I bought this Casio for £9 - I'm now wondering why I need the Promaster!!! atb snack.
But more reliable. I put this in my washing machine on a full 1600rpm spin wash and it survived no problem. Odd thing to do, I know, but just proved how tough this wee thing is.
