This video was reminiscent of the 80's sex ed videos many were subjected to, super corny, maybe a little uncomfortable at times to watch, but chock full of information. I am working on a 75 Ironhead bobber project and using 16" rims front and back. I was having a devil of a time relacing the rims, partly because I didn't take reference shots before I tore them down, and it had been months between teardown, paint, and relace. As it turns out I have an A and a B style hub so as I moved onto my front rim I couldn't figure out why the pattern wasn't working (and I got lucky on the rear), now I know. Serious props to this video, if you need to lace your rims, this is the holy bible of instruction.
I've got an 82 low rider front hub that I was trying to lace to 19" rim. It didn't have a hub when I got it, so, I had no reference. The service manual is really confusing on lacing this wheel. I'll have to re-read it now to see if it makes more sense. This video was a big help.
Worstest wheel ewer.. I was happiest man on planet when ill throw them into garbage and replaces with aluminium wheels. Always riding ont the edge with that you newer know when they gonna lose and make wobling... 🤑🤑🤑
Right On X GEN! We took great pride with NO ear pieces, NO rear suspend and spokes to log 500 miles per day. All smiles, NO complaints! Service checks every 2 days or 1K mi. Don't forget your Carbon Fibre Full Fairing! NOMAD....since 65 and still burnin rubber.
