Great tips! I like to do scalp massages with oil at minimum 2x a week. Love that you point out/remind us how certain things along the loc journey like frizz is normal
As always came thru with the best tips-thanks for the video and blessed happy holidays to you and your family❣️ BTW is that a braid out cause it looks so pretty
Hi Pauline, you are always most helpful! I have had micro-locs coming up for a year in May 2024. I went for a 6-week touch-up this past Friday. My loc specialist told me that my scalp was very dry and that it was causing breakage at the scalp. I didn't lose any hair as a matter of fact, I've never lost a loc. I am in the sauna 2x a week sweating, and I always oil it the night before. Should I wash my hair after getting out of the sauna? Can I take a washcloth and wash my scalp? For context, my hair washing regime is, that I clarify and hydrate my hair as the top of my head has not locked. The back is locking nicely. I showed my specialist the coco almond and the Rosewater that I was using. Is there anything else that I should do to get my hair a bit softer? I thought the objective was for the hair to be a bit hard so that it could lock.
Keeping them stretch will help. Watch the Bunching video (ruclips.net/video/_xccw9H4i-A/видео.html) or this video (ruclips.net/video/O7JGao7QvTk/видео.html). Hope that helps.

Hey Ms. Pauline 🙂 Do these tips apply to new locs as well as mature locs?
No, only mature locs
@@EnToiBeauty Thank you 🙂👋🏾
Lint is not my friend... Thanks mate for the tips
You're very welcome!
I had to put some oil on my scalp because it looked like it was snowing when I would shake my hair out. It was disgusting.
Yep, that winter time for you.
Do these tips apply to loca that aren't mature yet?
Great question! Yes, but as far as the oils go, consult with your loctician because texture will determine if it's okay
How do I prevent my locks from having fat ends.
