Are people really that dumbed down that when told the crane is 200 feet or 60 meters, or can lift 10 tonnes or 22k pounds, they can't relate? Sad.

10:26 You obviously don't understand physics at all. Not college stuff. High school physics. Simple stuff. It's called leverage. The boom does NOT change in strength but the leverage against the crane and it's counter weight. The cables and boom can pick up the same weight but the crane will tip over.

What about a simple wooden table chair? Nothing fancy just a normal everyday chair for a dining table or breakfast table for an average middle class American family. How can they possibly make that chair in China or Vietnam and package it and ship it 10,000 miles or more , unload it at a west coast port and ship it across the country and sell it in the southeast for less than it could be made in America?

Average hourly factory wages in China last I checked was $1.00/hour with no benefits. They also have a large supply of slaves that are source through their prison system. Most were arrested for looking at videos of the Tinnamen Square protest and other violations of their speech laws. In addition to cost free labor they have no job safety or pollution control laws. This allows manufacturers to dump metal filings, paint and other chemicals in the nearest river or drainage.

    • @robertmceuen3630
