I guess one of the rules on this channel is not to name-drop and compare yourself to some of the best to have ever played the game because you’re never going to be a second-coming and that’s, to be honest and fair, too much pressure to put yourself under because now everyone is going to expect you to do something as amazing as them and if you don’t then you will be a major disappointment. I know that I’m saying something mean and unfair but unfortunately that’s how a lot of professional sport leagues work.
I somehow missed the highlights of Cobb running people over like Bo and Earl did (on a regular basic I might add). To be fair (hopeful thinking?), your chart indicated that the Browns defense seemed to improve as the year went on. By the time the last game was played they were '85 bears quality so Cobbs had no chance.
Those names weren’t in order. The Browns gave up under 100 rushing yards in just three games that year and they were all in the first half of the season. In weeks 12-14, they gave up over 200 rushing yards in each game

Kiser problem is like so many other young QBs their thrown out on the field when not ready now their playing men not other kids and everybody is good college most teams may have 5 kids that will make the pros now if Kiser could've went where he could sit 4 years learn the teams offense it real helped Aron Roger's in GB you see the diffrence even between Brett and Aron While Brett was looking to his wrist for plays he was new didn't know the offense but the magic man got hurt then Aron when he started he knew the offense yes some can come in and start but a young team like the Browns any QB drafted was doomed it how the team is bi Ben went to the Steelets where all they needed was Qb any QB would've did good there from that draft

In the end the one issue I have with the comparison Cobbs made of himself? It's the fact that he blew a chance to say "Okay, okay, maybe I'm not as good as any of these guys but I still have the same amount of rings as all of them combined."
Antowain Smith has more, Rings, though, and, he made no comparisons to anybody, terrific.
It's really not worth bragging about a ring when you were riding the bench 99% of the time and didn't score a single point.
@@encycl07pedia- True, it's just that thing is he can still say that though.
I remember fuller carrying kizer at ND dude always thought he was better than he was and while he was awful how many people could have been good on that 17 browns team
Well at least he got a Super bowl ring
Do a video about the Giants trading the second overall pick in 1975 and their 1976 second-round pick to their division rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, for their QB, Craig Morton. Dallas used the 1975 pick to get...Randy White, who would go on to do big things with the Cowboys defense in the 1970s and 1980s...
At least Cobbs didn't mention Barry Sanders, as well...
Bo Jackson would be a Hall of Famer in 2 sports if he didn’t get hurt
you know its about to get bad when comparing yourself to the greatest running backs of all time before you even play
Yeah, and, it's even worse when Bo Jackson's career, simply, tops yours.
@@matthewdaley746 Cobbs career: 59 rushing yards.
Bo Jackson in one carry on MNF against My Beloved Seahawks: 91 yards.
@@CTubeMan Yeah, his playing career was less successful, than, The, Boz's, acting career, just sick, a bunch.
I, for one, will not stand for anti-pot propaganda
🗣💨👌
So he compared to no Jackson but he turned out to be Trent richardson.
No Jackson😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
He should have just spiked the ball into the ground on every play
Vanessa Williams 😂😂😂
Jamal Lewis didn’t rush for 2,600 yards. If he’s only behind Eric Dickerson who had 2,105, he couldn’t have had 2,600 yards. Just sayin.
Mewelde “Tyler” Moore.
In weeks 12-14, they gave up over 200 rushing yards in each game
well, at least he won a super bowl
Did you say Arkansas won the SEC in 1989? They didn't join until 1992. I guess you meant the SWC, South West Conference.
I think Cobb did a Toney M from Mich State and juiced it up to get drafted once he got his money he quit using and showed how good he real was
Kizer was so bad. He was athletic but not like Cam, and as for Tom Brady's brain... the fuck is he smoking??? Its gotta be pretty strong to believe that, id like to try it lol
I think Kizer was telling the truth about having Brady's brain. He just forgot the part about having the 5-year old version.
He was drafted to an impossible situation. He'd probably have been decently successful if he could've sat his rookie season
Houston Nutt was something else. I'm in big 10 country and I know that.
Also amusing Cobbs was a drama major given his, uh, dramatic proclamation.
Houston Nutt was, The, MVP, Of, The, 1998, Tennessee Vols, as head coach of Arkansas, he was mere minutes away from upsetting them, and, completely crushing their, Championship, hopes, but, he stupidly, Played, Not, To, Lose, you know the rest.
What do you want these players to say, “ Nah I’m just mediocre and won’t give it my all until my contract year”
I remember years ago there was a QB out of somewhere in the Pac-10 IIRC going around the combine talking about his million dollar arm then he didn't get drafted. I wish I could remember who it was. Late 90's IIRC.
No idea but here's a guess. Brad Otton of USC in 1997?
He later admitted he was shocked he wasn't selected by anyone in the draft. But there's no mention of him boasting during the combine.
I have no problem with him saying it but you have to back it up.
Which he failed to do. Back it up that is.
i mean he had a better college career than Fred Taylor, despite not being on as good of a team, both got a first team all sec, but cobbs had a higher career total and also had a higher single season total. He was in middle/high school with taylor was studding for florida, and so at that point in time when he got drafted he thought if I could put numbers up like taylor despite not being on as good of a team I can handle the nfl, but the bo jackson shit is insane, nobody beats bo jackson except maybe dave winfield wnho was drafted by four teams across three different sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, ABA) and also gotta say Wilt was probably top overall athlete ever. he is in two hall of fames, after retiring he got into the vollyball hall of fame, he also raced f1 cars, and was an insane track and field athellete.
whats with the deep analysis of the browns run D when in the game it was a blowout and backups were in at that point.
8:00 - No, that’s because of Matt Jones.
C4 was a beast at Ark. WPS
Good ole Bill did wind up getting Steven Jackson in the end, as in his last season before retirement after 8 with the rams and 2 with the Falcons. He had 50 yards and just 1 TD for the Patriots lol
High lights of COBB he looked like he might do great and he was going to NE where they couldn't key on him so either he was juiced up in college and stopped in the pros once he made money didn't have the heart to play RB behind Tom Brady
At least Cobbs put the pressure on himself with the comparisons and didn’t have his new coach doing it. This unofficial Official Jaguar Gator 9 historian will remind everyone you made a video about Saints Coach Tom Fears comparing Quarterback Gary Cuozzo to the man he backed up with the Colts, Johnny Unitas. That just scratches the surface concerning how bad the Saints acquisition of Cuozzo was.
Cobbs does have a ring, just sayin’.
What made him say this?!?
The same thing that, made, Ndamukong Suh taunt Matthew Stafford, and, Tom Brady swear at the official, arrogance, in all cases, they learned the hard way that, they scared nobody, and, were, all no longer untouchable.
@@matthewdaley746 POMPOUSITY
@@teen_laqueefa That's entirely spot on.
after listing those running stats for the patriots its kinda a joke you could compare adding a new running back to putting an indoor court in your mansion to compliment an outdoor one. if they won 2 and a row with horrid running then what are they gonna invest in? more players at positions that are already the best in the league at? you draft your weakness and that was some weak running figures
I really like Deshone Kizer's mechanics
Dude had a perfect throwing motion and stance
I feel like Jimmy Clausen was a worse rookie QB, Kizer was on a very bummy team and although I watched like every game he played where he was kinda a problem...I still really like him
IMO, Kizer should have stayed at Norte Dame a couple of more years. No way was he ready for the NFL.
Kizer shouldn't be on the list because he was on the so called blackballed list for Cleveland along with the coach to lose game's on purpose which he had no idea was happening to him I thought he was a good QB believe it or not he was just set up to fail and he's still out there on the market really messed up.
Man that sucks
Bi Ben
Moore didn't have a solid career.
