I would rather see this magnificent creature alive on the bottom of the sea, than like this cooked to a great ball of rubber. All those years it took this conch to get this size, it's sad. Another thing is they are becoming extinct due to overfishing & the 4 to 5yr old conch's taken & eaten, instead of letting them get to full maturity & populate. The females grow the largest & can live from 7yrs up to 20 or 30yrs. Please google the Conch so much detail & very interesting, but what I read is disheartening of their survival. 😓

that must be rubbery to eat- the texture... giant snails shouldn't be eaten because they contains alot of toxicity as they grow older and bigger! they ate sediments like janitor fish helping clean up the nature as well...

most people dont realize that the nervous system of a mollusk isn't developed enough to feel pain the way we do. there are very many of these types of shells called charonia tritonis and its fine to eat them as they dont waste any parts. snails are a main food source for many people in the pacific.
take a shellfish for 300-400 dollars and cook a variation of pottai out of it, killing all its taste, and then make it in gravy and even eat it with a baguette? eating clam sashimi wrapped in ginger? And this is like a cool boss? why? cook, you’d better take just meat then, I don’t understand, senseless show-offs ...
