I visited Kawasaki Showroom in Chennai a few years back asking to buy the Ninja 300. But the sales people didn't even have the courtesy to respond properly to my queries. The sales guy was having a "take it or leave it" attitude. And they also introduced a random Handling Charge in the on-road price and didn't give an explanation as to what that meant. I just walked out and never looked back. A wonderful bike but they a lost a customer due to crappy service.

Lol, you are wrong. This bike can't touch a 500cc bikes, that's one of the reason Kawasaki launched ninja 400. Ninja 400 engine is basically over bored ninja 300 engine as 300 couldn't make good power. Also both ninja 300 and 400 are sports tourer, they are not sports motorcycles. Both of these ninja never got the "R" badge, recently Kawasaki came out with ZX25R which is there proper sports motorcycle. ZX25R being a 250cc makes more power than ninja 300, lol. Few facts.

This is a great Bike now made in India from 2020 model onwards. 2019 was the last Japanese import model entire engine block & electricals were imported. Except the 2 spark plugs which are cheap Indian ones put by Kawasaki India 😊

@@qwertyme8338 Yes you are correct. The only Kawasaki bikes that sell are the VFM ones. The rest don't sell. So their best seller is the Z900 and that is one of the most powerful naked bikes in its class undercutting the Street triple. The next best seller is the Versys which again is the cheapest sports tourer in its class undercutting the V Storm. The Ninja 650 is the last one which again undercuts the Honda 650R. Now the Zx25r if they launch it here will be the most expensive 250cc motorcycle by far. It's going to be a very hard sell for a track focused small capacity bike in a price focused market like India. Would you pay 7l for a 250cc bike? Because that's more or less what it would cost here and a ktm rc 390 offers 95% of the performance at half the cost. Remember the reason kawasaki made the Zx25r was because of indonesian tax norms which impose a hefty tax penalty on bikes greater than 250cc. So the zx25r is a purpose built machine for a particular market. There is talk about a Zx4r based on the zx25r which would be a global model. Maybe that if launched will come to India
@@qwertyme8338 Buddy in line 4 engines are starved for low end torque. Such bikes are not meant for Indian roads where low end torque is needed. You should say you want the in line 4 engine sound note but the bike is clearly not suited for Indian roads. All the power is very high in the rev range and you can't use it much on our roads. In line 4 engines are always big capacity engines to ensure adequate low end torque. There is a reason no one makes small capacity in line 4 engines

I visited Kawasaki Kolkata per month but the break are not giving confidence, after locally assembled ninja it look like as pulsar 200 in built quality , Yamaha don’t compromise in built quality that’s still waiting, hear that it launch in March 2022
This was more of a fanboy's review. Decimates the competition. Lol, Yes but only for now. I have been waiting to buy a 300 cc bike. My friend use to own the earlier model of the Ninja300 before bs6 and I loved that machine. The only things bs6 seems to have added are the new paint jobs and the price. I can see dirt on your pillion seat that has splashed from the back tyre as the back does very little to prevent dirt from splashing up. Imagine driving on slightly wet roads, the underside of the back portion will literally be dropping mud and everything and if there's a pillion rider his/her back will be a mess. Also the after sales services costs of Ninja are still on a higher side. I test rode the ninja300 and immediately decided to wait for the Yamaha R3 to relaunch in India, sometime around mid 2022. No offense, just my opinion.

From the low Rev sound it is clear that this is one super refined motor and for long highway cruising this should be sufficient. Can I follow my larger motorcycle friends on highway trips? Probably not if they are hitting very high speeds. But at 100-120 kmph I would enjoy the ride on this one. And I will be the one smiling when this goes for servicing. Just my 2 cents.
With a parallel twin super refined engine it is capable of beating KTM 390 anyday and anytime. And this is the first time I am hearing that KTM 390 is a super sports considering that it is a single cylinder machine.
I'm having N300 2018 bs4 model. I get slightly buzz type vibe on handle bars and footpegs around 4k rpm. If any one felt the same then do let me know. I'm really worried if it's problem with my machine or not. 😢
Just give bright LED headlamps..kawasaki..!! Let Safety at night and innovation go hand in hand ! Anyways they have cut cost on brakes and tires..being also used as a sport tourer bright leds are must as regular halogen brightness goes down at lower rpms..

Yah in tamilnadu handling charges they are charge 20k I think.
All over India they charge it between 15,000 ₹ - 20,000 ₹

Ideal cruising speed is 100 kmph as you get it at around 7k rpm. You can cruise at 120 kph but your mileage will drop
