Looks interesting and helpful. Wishing you the best of luck getting things setup with a manufacturer.

What you have built is interesting if it does what it appears to do. I have an Multipick Ares DD tool, it's more of a construction site, the length of the tip and tensioner make it difficult and unwieldy for a beginner. Something like your creation would be a relief in such a case. Does it also work for rear tension?

@@TuMayPickingSince the outer shaft does the picking on rear tensioning picks, a self-tensioning device is highly unlikely.
BTY, I contacted the inventor of the Silver Bullet and asked him to look at my material. He acknowledged me on his channel and hasn't commented since. That was two weeks ago. I'm beginning to believe it's on purpose.
Yes, I know how frustrating it is to work with disk detainer picks. I was watching a video from about 3 weeks ago from Look Noob as he used a Sparrows tool to open an SUS304 DD padlock from Amazon. People in the comments were asking him about 3D printed shims as if this was going to re-energize people's confidence. Good grief! Some creators on YT just pick locks and market themselves to be commercials for manufacturers. It must be nice to get free stuff and not have "confirmation bias". I refuse to play that game. Been there done that. In other words, the best companies are the ones that put your name on tools and give out freebies. 😆

Wasting your time. The reason is not many lock pickers pick disc detainer locks. Hand full on RUclips. Not being a dick but it facts.

@@charliefinnigan9209 I appreciate blunt speak. And the reason is because America doesn't produce the majority of disc detainer padlocks. It's a niche market. Those who bought the Sparrows DD tool had trouble finding locks to pick. What is a waste of time is watching those who do pick DD perform hand gymnastics. My tool can work in any orientation and it won't fall out of the lock. It's like manipulating a safe dial. Imagine picking a lock with just 2 fingers.
