GREAT for new pickers.thanks were learning so much. 😎😎😎
I know I've learned some new terminology to look up. Dimple pick/lock, security pin.
The new intros are incredible !!! Glad to see one that wasn't overly loud.
can you gut this MINDY lock for us please Bill? I'm curious to see inside it. ^_^
I would like to see the guts as well
Ryan Paton
This lock will have to be destroyed to gut it.
So the best way to guarantee it being gutted is to order one from Amazon and sent it to bill saying please gut this lock so we can see the guts.
But you can do this method with just about any other locksport picker on YT.
Great job Bill. It could be a nice visual on your desk because it's pretty lock. Thanks for another great video.
Bobby Keyz
Haha kinda like Master lock... The outside looks great and is tough under fire as well. But the guts are riddled with cancer.
This was one of the videos that introed me into lockpicking on youtube. I hope retirement treats you well and that the views keep coming
That's gotta be one of the creepiest intros ever....
Lol...I like his intros
The Chinese design some amazing locks, it's a shame they don't incorporate better materials and anti-pick technologies. They'd be some pretty challenging locks then.
What's so amazing about cheap shit made with stolen patents?
lollol bill picked so so many locks.... very eye opening to see a collection of locks from all over the world
I've seen the same cores in Mexico used by a brand called Ashico, made in China but the brand claims to be Polish if I am not mistaken. I have one and I really like how easy the key goes in and how precise the core feels. This Mindy padlock is handsome.
Dang Bill, no matter what lock comes your way, you got the answers! Great job as always!
In the fire service at least one source suggests "case hardened" intends to resist compression cutting forces like bolt cutters. It goes further to suggest that case hardened shackles should indicate the need for rotary cutting tool
It's actually not uncommon for cheap locks to have the 'hardened' stamp on the shackle and it isn't hardened, or only hardened on the surface. Especially if they come from China and the like.
I got some "hardened" locks from the dollar store, 3 locks for a bux! A small, a medium and a 'normal'. The small one you can bend it by hand. The second one you can bend it with long nose (in case you don't realise, those ain't made to twist, but to grab things lightly). The bigger one... Take a screwdriver, and twist it. The package say "body and shakle hardened", the shakle have hardened written on it. The small one can be cut with one or two strike of a metal hacksaw. The bigger one I cut it with about 10 strokes... Don't trust 'hardened'.
Were you able to use the stores return policy?
Loving all your new openings. So shiny. Great video, and cool lock. Thanks for the technique.
Great video ! your videos have been great , made me buy a nice lock kit !! Ive been practicing and I can now pick at least 60% of the locks I've tried ! getting better each day !!
I did see one of this Mindy locks today on eBay with a panther (or similar) on the front and a crazy stepped key. Looked pretty cool but way to expensive just for fun. Thanks for sharing :).
Circular tension tool works wonders on those locks.
Love this animated intro so much
Well...writing "high security" and "hardened" along with the funky keyway might intimidate a potential thief from even trying, so it's probably a good idea to write that crap on your lock even if it isn't true.
I wonder if that keyway would be a good place to try one of those round tension rings. I'd also try sliding a shim into the shear line while picking instead of using tension. It looked like there may be enough space for a shim there, and no guard or warding to prevent it.
so. the dentist references about opening up his smile; every video, you handle your picks like your a dentist. and when you single pin pick, it reminds me of a dentist feeling for decay. haha. just had to share that...
Beautiful looking lock.
people interested in lockpicking sport should go to one of those love bridges where people leave their locks locked onto the bridge. dont take the locks tho, like fishing, see if you can open them and lock them back in the same place
That is one aesthetic lock.
Those smiley keyway's certainly deter people who use rakes, the lock i use on my mountain bike has similar features to this but also uses spindle and serrated pins lol I have beat it once using mad bobs picks and a "wishbone" tension tool, learning so much thanks.
On these odd hard to tension locks you could try UV set glue it sets really fast and so far I haven't had any adhesion problems. It cost about $10 and has an UV led light built in.
To do what exactly?
Feels like a Brain De Palma film(MI1). So what are some locks that are hard to pick; hard to drill; moderate/severe brute force resistant; hard to hacksaw; less than 50 USD; less than 100 USD?
excelente vídeo. y mucha habilidad.
One of those double prong tension wrenches should work.
I wonder if you could use one of those tensioners for shuttered locks (like on a car door). They kind of look like tweezers with the 2 tips bent in the same direction so that you can get a pick in between the tensioning tool. I wonder if this might be a bit too big though. Anyone know?
Is this a good padlock for a hunting cabin? Are there better alternatives
Awesome video bill might have to get one of these and give it a go!
you should do some more lock cutting with the grinder.

Very cool. Love oddball locks. I have a few Mindys myself (bought via AliExpress), but not this one.
Whenever I travel to Asia, I try to seek out their unique lock designs. I have a few from Taiwan that are really interesting; would be happy to send you one if you're interested.
Can you just shim the shear line right through the front of the lock?
You are just great! A lot of encouragement from you!
Bosnianbill-security company's kryptonite
This one deserves to be cut in half sir ;)
like the alien intro.
Just use that tweezers like tensioning tool that's in cheap Chinese pick kits. Let it grab both sides of the warding and pick like any other pin tumbler.
Great I bought this padlock a few days ago!!!
I love that intro! Well done, sir!
5:14 "He's stuck, I seriously should have put some lube in this thing."
Finally got one to try. Thanks for the tip.🇺🇸
what a wacky intro! Love it!
Hi i wonder bill what would happen if you used a home made shim with the center either cut out or something as a tension tool
I really liked that introduction, kind of Mid evil, I take it there's no way to gut the lock without destroying it ?
Who makes all these amazing intros!?
you can also use an tensioner that had two arms
great job haven't ever tried the smile locks
i'd just super glue something to that bible, and turn it like a dial with my free hand, apply pressure as needed as a makeshift tension wrench.
What would you recommend for a cargo container ? I plan on having a welded on cover for the lock area on the doors. Good enough? recommended lock?
Get one of these on it:

Thanks for a great video! Smooth picking!
What about hot gluing one of your tensioners to the face of the cylinder to provide leverage?
Paul Stafford I don't think hot glue would hold against that face.
these mindy locks are every where in amazon ,ebay ,pick every one of those design pls
Wired Keys, but the Design are Nice :D
brilliant, well done..
Where can one aquire a set of lock picking tools?
Aeroica Gaming 11 months later, but you can pick them up on amazon
Good super-glue on the tumbler face might be fun.
Bosnianbill how do you do your intro's!!! I love them
can you do a a review on a lock pick gun or an electric lock picker, thank you very much!
Ironically, this is a more accurate use of the term tension.
Since I started to watch bosnianbill, I just have succefully opened three locks :D
Well, here we don't have high-security locks :P
ps: They are all for help my friends, ever legal work.
It's dangerous addict, ever when I have "nothing to do" (or I am bored) :P I start to do it ^_^ just for fun!
Ever since Bosnian Bill popped up on my reccomendations I got myself some picks from Sparrows and progressive Schlage locks, keeps me busy.
When you see a padlock with "Top Security" on it.... you know dont buy it. :D
Benage a trois.
your intros are awesome!
"Hardened(tm)" :)
Could you make some videos on the quadrocopters I saw in one of your videos?
Love the intro :D
that intro! great video
you usually stamp in soft metal
first video i watched on your channel was this one... i almost gave up on 'our sponsor master lock', happy i didnt
Neat lock, silly that is says hardened, fake deterrent I guess. I would have liked to see how you'd pick this lock without using the vice to hold it in place. Seems like cheating a bit having it held for you, but that's just my thought.
I was cleaning a rental home and I found a bunch of flat metal keys on a key ring. they are snake like flat and all different. somebody told me they have something to do with lock picking. they are all about the same length and width of a key and are all different shapes like a snake. anybody know what they are and what there used for?
RDC CS maybe bump keys?
A morky Mindy lock.
Who does your intros?
Hope you can let us see the interior of this queer lock.
try the Bowley Lock !!
While the lock body and shackle seem to be pretty rubbish, the core (more precisely, the keyway) seems very good. Imagine having to pick that thing while it's hung up on some door or gate, not in a vice.
You would need 3 hands to tension, pick and just hold the lock which should make things difficult
just ordered 2 lol
I have one of these on my door it is a Chinese type of lock ish
do you have a different intro every time?
typo in the title
Bowley.
bosnianbilling it
you can rake it too very easily...
benage :DDDD
I don't thing there is anything cool about the fact that it is not hardened when it says so. It's plain and simple false advertisement. And it actually might cost you highly.
I point it out to sensitize you to how often these makers put FAKE labels on their products.
Jukka-Pekka Tuominen Well if they sell it as "cheap lock with words to scare thieves into not even trying", it wouldn't be bad.
Very disappointing, I wanted it to be somehow a bad-ass.
bump it
Is it possible to shim the sheer way .

looks like enough of a pain in the ass to keep opportunists out at least
