Solo dates are so much fun! Brighton seems like a lovely place to go either alone or with friends and family💜
I visited Brighton on a school trip 11 years ago, it was a very nice place.
In the beginning of 2020, I studied abroad in the UK in Norwich, which is a lovely city and I highly recommend you visit. During my time there I also visited Great Yarmouth, which I also very much enjoyed 😊
I've heard that they're lovely cities! I'll have to add them to my bucket list too📝
This looks like the loveliest day! It's such a joy to go on solo adventures like this. It took me a while to work up the courage to do it, for some reason, but I am so glad I did. Obviously sharing things with loved ones is great too, but there's a certain joy in spending time with yourself and just following your own whims. Glad you got to soak up the sunshine!
I agree! Being on your own is so exciting and liberating. I definitely felt very empowered by it and would love to build up the confidence to venture further afield next time🚉✈️
I’m Dutch and went on solo travels in my own country back when I was a student. Booking hotels in different cities. I did this after my finals, to reward myself and having something to look forward to. It’s really enjoyable having all the freedom to do whatever you want.
I'd love to work up to staying over night or even travelling abroad on my own! Sounds so daunting but I've heard so many wholesome stories about making friends in hostels and doing excursions together. Maybe once I've worked up some more confidence...✈️
Long been a solo traveller, particularly in the UK (I'm US-based, but I'm often in England, especially in Cambridge, which is how I discovered your wonderful channel!). I love travel with my partner, but there is indeed something so liberating about exploring and enjoying a place on your own. I have loved solo day trips from London to Brighton! I also recommend going to Bath, if you haven't been. Maybe even doing an overnight by yourself--it's so much fun to get snacks and books and hunker down in your hotel bed. Your own little nest.
I'd love to do Bath! It's definitely next on my list of places to visit. I've heard such good things. And I agree, it's so freeing to solo travel and explore😋🌏
Thanks for sharing. Is it walkable?
Any leads where one could just park all day?
I'm late catching this vlog Emma but what a lovely video. I'm glad you enjoyed my home town (city!) of Brighton! Please come back soon, there is so much to see and do! :)
Brighton was so wonderful! I'd definitely love to revisit, maybe even go for a swim next time🌊🏊♀️
