Just watch out his RUclips channel brother where he already put the videos of playing with Slayer at the Soundwave festival , Australia . The guy is a monster .
When this album first came out, the review said "I was listening to Reign In Blood in the car, and the opening track Angel of Death made me want to drive onto the pavement and mow down the pedestrians". 25 years later and they've still got it.
By far one of the best performances of this 4-piece orchestral masterpiece. They were all in their 30's at the time and had plenty of practice to play and were still young enough to have the energy to do it just a bit faster.
If u wanna hear the the most melodic metal riff ever...check out Wintersun's Sons of winter and stars...the killer riff, starts approximately 4:48, or in this licks and tricks vid: ruclips.net/video/2ePKOhIpmRE/видео.html
Was at a concert around 8 years ago in San Diego (chula vista arena) .Megadeth was the one before last and they had a wall of speakers. Slayer came afterwards and they uncovered twice as many speakers. It was brutal. Ears ringing for days in happiness.
(Pre gig) Hey guys I've got a great idea. Lets take one of our fastest songs and play it even faster!!. Jesus christ such an awesome performance. R.I.P Jeff
R.I.P. Jeff Hannemans_I was in a band while serving in the Marine Corps, after OIF'03 Task Force Tarawa & Battle of Nasiriyah, we came home covered South of Heaven for our 1st show in Jacksonville, N.C. Some of my greatest memories with my fellow Marines, Slayer & Jeff Hannemans Guitar playing is the soundtrack to those memories. l,,/(^_^)l,,/ For my fellow fellow Marines & my Baby Brother still serving, & watched this video with me a 1000 times, we say Thank You Jeff for those great memories.
For me this is Slayers best song , a song about a scumbag Doctor that was never bought to justice. These guys were/are the template that all other thrash metal bands had to live up to
this right here was probably the best version live i remember when i was in high school and the first Ozz Fest hit in 96' i would listen to the whole cd non stop i never get tired of this ever because it was a very big part of growing up with shit alternative bands in the 90's and where are most of them now? slayer have been tearing it up since 1983 sucks that we lost Jeff but he's in heaven with randy rhoads, and Dimebag hail to the kings god bless-jay
@Scott Grudziadz He was shot on stage performing, he could have easily run or protect himself but he took the bullet, if that isn't bravery then I don't know what is
This, young people is called a metal band. Now stop saying craps like "wow there's gonna be BMTH and BFMV at that gig it's gonna be so metal". Damn i hate my generation, i was 1 year old when this video was shot but i'd give away one of my nuts to be able to be there right now. \m/
Nice man, I have only one chance to see them, but Jeff wasn't in the band. So fucking sad. Think I hate Gary for that. First two discs of BMTH was really good imo. But metal it's dying nowadays. So bad... Everyone are on Don Omar and latin shit. Justin Bieber wearing Manson shirts, Billie Elish with Type O Negative and CoF. Lady Gaga with Metallica. This sucks.
@@agungsulaksono8035 When they are showing clips of what isn't actually happening. Like Jeff putting out his arms at 0:22 when he is really playing at that time. But it's happening all over. It's not showing what is actually happening in that moment all over this video. 2:01 is a hilarious example too.
*Plays one of the most badass and controversial songs of all time* Right after: "Hey I want to thank you all for coming out, hope youre all having a great time, here are some souvenirs to take home" lol I love Tom
RIP Jeff God Bless you and your family.. thank you for all the years of Great fuckin times and we will all miss you..until we meet again good nite my brother...
I was at this concert. They blew the speakers. No joke.
I believe it..they must have recorded this loud too..I had to tone down the volume on my JBL..
i Imagine, one of the best versions of angel of death live i heard. do you remember also other songs they played in this concert???
I am green with envy, sir...😐
SLAYER FUCK `S ALL ! = DEFINITELY # 1 ! ! !
I so happy 4 u. Amazing concert.
Even though Jon Dette was only short time with Slayer his drumming is absolutely impressive

36 years later and it still holds true. keep reigning brother
This one here is probably the most brutal version of this fucking masterpiece
Jon’s energy on the drums made this 10x more intense.
By far one of the best performances of this 4-piece orchestral masterpiece. They were all in their 30's at the time and had plenty of practice to play and were still young enough to have the energy to do it just a bit faster.
Jon Dette was 25/26 here.
And absolutely kicking ass... listen to those kicks
The opening scream of this song is so perfect

The best Trash metal band is Metallica ,bro
at 1:37 starts the heaviest metal riff ever written.Hail Hanneman.
Word
With clips of Jeff and Kerry playing tapping solos and shit during that riff lmao

Got tears in my eyes, pure perfection, the immortal legacy of Hanneman!
Toms headbanging during the solos... Fuck..
I miss Tom headbanging...he was one of the best...at least he is still a great singer today.
That's why his neck is completely fucked lol.
@@ChicagoTRS his singing is shit. So is his bass playing. His singing was good on Show No Mercy but after that it went downhill.
@@russkate88 🤡
Dette's technique is outstanding!
Real shame he didn't stay in the band. Best drummer they never had.
The best version of Angel of Death live!!!
Now if we had bands like THIS on the Ozzfest, then it'd be much much better.
Rip to everyones ears during this song.
I listen with headphones on full volume :).
@@thenerd8220 my brain is legit regretting it right now, is it worth it? Yes

They blew the speakers! I was at this one.
That Jeff Hannemann solo starting at about 4:06 followed by the drum solo is truly amazing.
Jeff looked really into this performance
There are 5 solo's actually. 3 by jeff and 2 by Kerry

John Dette on drums! Was a great show. This was the first time I saw Slayer, probably have seen them 10-12 times since.
Hell yes! That was about as perfect as it can get live.
i think its as simple as saying that SLAYER.....is the HEAVIEST BAND OF ALL TIME.....at least in my opinion....
