- Jimin was given the official title of Main Dancer & Lead Vocalist since BTS debuted
- Jimin at age 11-12 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition) in hip hop, popping (which he excelled) & street dancing attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he is from.
A dance instructor there even waived the quite high tuition fee for him at one point.
- Jimin did this while also going to middle school, where he joined the football team, because he loved sports & is quite athletic. He also excelled in track, basketball, is even good at billiards.
- Jimin then started studying & performing contemporary dance as well at the Busan High School of Arts. The media even called Jimin "The rising star of Busan" after seeing him perform at a Busan Festival concert.
- Jimin also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending the Busan High School of the Arts, but was still going to Just Dance Academy for hip hop classes during weekends.
- Jimin also excelled in academic studies, (especially math & science) always getting perfect scores & was class president for 9 yrs straight.
- Jimin had offers to dance overseas but he turned it down because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade. So he went to audition for BigHit Entertainment (the company BTS is signed with), to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said ("The world of dance was going to lose a great artist!").
Also even when Jimin was a young boy, after seeing the anime One Piece character Zoro, he wanted to become the greatest swordsman in the world like Zoro. So he went to his mom and asked to be trained in Martial Arts.
- Jimin trained for 8 yrs in Kendo and also has a 'Blackbelt' in Taekwondo. He has also learned Hapkido, Keomdo (Korean form of Kendo) & Chinese martial arts.
He even studied martial arts in China after receiving a scholarship (only one in class to receive it).
- Jimin has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines as well as all his vast experience in martial arts into his own amazing and outstanding dance style! His extensive martial arts training has given Jimin his phenomenal inner core strength as well as amazing flexibility to enable him to do all those gravity defying dance moves that many dancers aren't able to do.
- Jimin is also known for his mesmerizing spectacular stage presence and has been called "Stage Commander".
- Jimin has not only been awarded the title of King of Kpop 2 yrs in a row, but also the Best #1 Top Dancer in Kpop the last 2 yrs as well.
- He has the ability to be able to convey and internalize all the emotions & feelings that a song is trying to convey through his body and his dance. Just like he does vocally as well.

Like some people already corrected, Jimin is the one with contemporary background (along with many other dance styles), not JK, and is the other main dancer of the group (the other one being Hobi).
A brief summary about the dance line (Hobi, Jimin, JK and V) so you don't get confused anymore: J-Hope is the dance leader and the main dancer; Jimin is the other main dancer; Jungkook and V are the lead dancers. Main>lead. All are great dancers though.
And ofc Jin, RM and Suga are very good dancers too!

You should watch Run BTS episodes so you could understand some of the clips there. Mostly the clips are from their Run BTS.
It's Jimin who studied contemporary, not Jungkook. Jimin has also studied hip-hop, jazz, Korean traditional, robotic, etc. He has learnt many dance styles and in fact the most versatile kpop dancer ever. Not to mention his martial arts expertise (Taekwondo, Kendo, Hapkido, Chinese martial arts, and many sports activities).
BTW, besides being "good boy", Jimin was also very very popular and extremely smart in school (same as now tho). He was a class president for 9 years, valedictorian of his school, received multiple scholarships AND had an actual fanbase already in school for his dancing performances.

10:37 the game they're playing is a korean game called "animal kingdom" and you basically each choose an animal gesture to do and popcorn each other until someone messes up. (also that basic clapping thing they do everytime) so for example if JK was an elephant and namjoon was a bird, JK would do the clapping thing, his elephant gesture, and then namjoon (or whoever he picks). and then namjoon would have to do his gesture then pick someone else to do the samething. the pace picks up and gets really rushed and its so fun to play with a big group
