- Watertube boilers are great and one thing, turning water into steam. Watch today as Ritchie and Steven talk about how a watertube steam boiler works.
Boiler's are just over sized tea kettles.. transfer heat into the water to create steam. To do that efficiently and to the scale that these boilers have to work at, they become much more complex in their design. Watch as Steven explains how the hot gases flow through the boiler and how watertube boilers turn heat into steam.

Can you help me about the feed water how much the exact pH reading of it???
so that particular boiler didn't have a super heated pass for the steam after it leaves the steam drum?
Correct. This is just a "normal" watertube boiler. Thanks for the comment!
Ligaments... membrane???
Not sure what you are asking. Can you explain better? Thanks for watching though!
wareboilers every boiler has called it membrane so why ligament
Ligaments is another way of explaining what it is. Ligaments and membrane can be use interchangeably as they both describe the same thing. Hopefully that helps.
No offense, but I'm a boiler tech and instrumentation specialist, and I !HATE! rental units! They are the worst....LOL. I like the fact that he says the O type is the most popular. In my experience, that is very true. Every rental I've ever serviced was indeed an "O" style.
Sorry to hear about your experience with rental units.. We try our very best to insure that each one of our units is operating at 100% when they roll off our lot. If you ever have a chance to operate a WARE Rental Boiler, hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the comment!
I've been in a boilerhouse so long, I have Polaroids of rental units from the mid 80's! Ran the last fire through two Rilley stoakers and previously three Johnson fluidized beds!
