Yep , after the carnage they caused at Hillsborough , Police , football authorities , what do they do ? Introduce stasi like laws and rules to completely crush any real fan groups , this doesn't work in Italy , fans still count for something , they let management and players know straight away , either confronting players at training or summoning players to the curve , English football is an embarrassing woke joke.
It’s not just the police that lie. It’s the stewards to. If they can make money out of you they will. Remind us how much money the home office give the football police unit for every FBO they get through the courts ?
they can ask for the duty but it’s likely they won’t have knowledge of football offences and different outcomes eg a caution might not be considered whereas it would normally if not football related
Yes you are, the officer who arranges the interview should ask you if you want a solicitor and if you ask for the duty then they will arrange that for you - although sometimes it will be when you arrive and you'll have to wait. However, football offences are not always dealt with in the same way as most other offences and the duty may not be aware of this. That is why we would recommend getting a specialist to attend with you. Both free of charge, so doesn't make much sense to ask for duty if you have the benefit of time to arrange a specialist. We cover every police station in the country.

Brilliant Micky 👍🏼
From the outside looking in...the laws around football never cease to amaze me. No alcohol in view of the pitch is one that seem a bit archaic.
Such a lovely free law advice for all football fans ! Many thanks for that. I hope it will get to many of us.
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed. We hope to do more in the future

Hi Gents are you entitled to a duty solicitor if you volunteer for interview?
