just a touch of weathering and this mask would be perfect!
Another tip you might like...as stated in other reviews of this helmet, the paint over the magnets at the very top of the helmet chips/scratches off SUPER easy, so what I've done is taken packaging tape (because it's super clear), cut it to fit over that area specifically, and put it down in the groves so that when you move the face piece up and down on the helmet, it will keep it from scratching/chipping! Hope this helps others out in the future!

Consider buying the 75th version Capt America Shield it is so very well made , sturdy and freakin heavy worth the price tag they are asking for it

I considered getting the Mk42 helmet from RoanxLager to display on my desk setup, but that thing costs $230. This Hasbro one is looking pretty attractive right now since Target has it for like $75 with the TOYS code. The helmet being the Mk7 from Avengers 1 is a plus too.
How do the LEDs look at max setting at night? Is it bright enough that you won't see the circle/honeycomb designs on the LEDs?

You can prop the mask up on top of the helmet, there are hidden magnets.

Have you found anyone modding this helmet to open? I picked one up months ago and was so sure the rpf forums were going to mod the hell out of it. Since then it's been really quiet.

According to some of the RPF members, this actually considered as the MKVII. I initially thought it was the MKIII as well
Vincent Allen II thanks for checking it out man. Haha close enough to me. I'm really not a big fan of the recent helmet designs. MK3 and MK7 were definitely my favorites (since they are damn near the same) now it's time to make some of the remaining suite for display
I think the Design is from MKIII... MK IV ( i have them as Hot Toys at Home)... MK VI and MK VII 😁

I made my own, mainly because of the quality I wanted would have costed upwards of £700, which I can't justify for a replica. Plus I just love things I make myself.

Uncle Jessy yeah I'm thinking Gunmetal and Stainless Steel for a War Machine helmet. Just pop the lenses out and hit them with a transparent red paint rather than rewiring for a red LED. If real ambitious get some of this stuff alclad2.com strip the helmet, fine sand it as smooth as possible and give it the polished metal look of the Mark II.
If you have never used Alclad II, it is a paint that can perfectly simulate metal including chromes. It is airbrush only, but is incredibly easy to airbrush. It is incredibly thin paint, and will show every imperfection on the material so sanding and polishing beforehand is a must. The chrome paints will even show your fingerprints on the plastic surface, they are that thin. The stuff is a bit expensive so I would only use it for extra special pieces like a Mark II. Needless to say it is a lacquer paint, incredibly toxic to breath in, so wear a mash and don't spray it in the House.

@@rileylovescats23 Well yes, but it only came out 2 years ago. My comment is 4 years old. (And honestly the paint on the War Machine helmet is lacking. It looks like matte black and silver paint. No sense of metallics. It lacks the sheen that the Iron Man one has. Nor is it as interesting as the Punisher one, which embraced the weathered black look. I’m still tempted to repaint a War Machine Helmet with some Alclad II or Automotive Lacquers.)

Why would you need a voice changer? He doesn't even use one in most of the movies. Maybe the first movie had a little of a metallic sounding filters for his voice but otherwise the helmet really doesnt need one
