I'm a darkmoon witch and thrive in the quiet colder months, and always feel so out of sorts and lost in the rising of the warmer parts of the year. When I lived alone I had a two-bedroom apartment. The second bedroom had my main working altar and an ancestor altar. The walls had tapestries hanging that brought in the energy of the God along with the Goddess. In my living room, I had a shrine/altar for The Morrigan, as well as a Fairy altar. I'll be getting a larger room in the house I'm sharing now and I plan on painting a tree mural where the top branches are Spring, the next set Summer, the third tier Autumn, and the last winter. A full moon will peek through the Autumn branches. I will have my main altar and somehow my ancestor altar, and if I can swing it, an altar for Brighid, The Morrigan, Pan, Herne, Odin, and Danu. At this point, much sharing occurs with my gods' altar having Pan, Odin, and Herne all there. Love your ideas here Hearth.
My best friend always says, coming into my home is like stepping into a favorite story. There are unique treasures everywhere she looks, and she never quite sees everything. There are always surprises. I have thought for a long time that your parents are really wonderful! You do lots with them and they are a big part of your life. That is lovely!

Me and dad have only one cell phone. So I'm using the phone right now. What I'm doing for my time on this sacred time of year day and stuff. Is I've got a bass fixer thing that you can put in your bathtub, but I've also set a jar. To collect rainwater outside where I live. I also know how to crochet because my great aunt taught me how to do so. And that's what i'm doing everyone have a blessed day or night❤.
I'm only 36 minutes in but how about a muted red altar cloth for Brigid's space? Or maybe a muted red-violet? Deep green or a warm grey would also be lovely, and have great energy, IMO 💖

I also work with the sabbath as seasons, so while yesterday, actual Imbolc day, felt very special to me, I was working and didn’t have time for my fun and Magick and doings. This morning, however, I got to go on my nature walk to see which trees are budding, and am now in the middle of making candles. I had a wonderful oracle reading on Imbolc eve with the Seasons of the Witch Imbolc Oracle deck (love that series of decks!) I was out in the storm up here on the West Coast Of Scotland and it was absolutely wonderful I was really energised by the Winds it was as if I was in my own personal "eye of the storm" with Earth Mother protecting me. I can relate :) Even though Imbolc is about the return of sunlight, I personally also associate it with the water element and specifically melting ice water or melting snow, and the color light pale blue. I liked listening to you do your workings on video. It was very calming and almost ASMR-like. As a still-learning baby witch who is still somewhat Catholic, I’m not sure if I’ll celebrate the Wheel of the Year, but it’s so interesting to see how you and others celebrate.
I do enjoy stormy weather, as long as it's not to danger levels. We just had a couple of snow events in my area. It's so relaxing watching the snow and rain with a nice hot drink. They're perfect hot drink and book reading days. British weather sounds like it gets really intense, though. That's a little bit too much! Stay safe!

Imbolc is the day after tomorrow and low and behold there is snow heading our way. Here in the Rocky Mountains, I don't think, when I've been above 6000 feet, that I've ever, or at least rarely seen an Imbolc or Beltaine without snow. Glad to hear how you handle awful weather during a Sabbat.

there is a tradition to leave a scarf or cloth to represent brigid's cloak out on a bush overnight on imbolc eve for brigid to bless for the coming year, so I am actually knitting a shawl to use for that this imbolc.
I’m been wanting an altar for a year now. I love seeing how much your changes. I think I’m come to the realization that I need a workspace altar and a prayer/celebration altar.
It's storming terribly where I am as well in the southeastern US (although we just have tons of rain, not the super high winds). This after being frozen last week with temps in the teens Fahrenheit ( negative 11 Celsius) - which may not seem very cold to many people, but here in the Deep South, we are not used to it. I think Mother Nature is a bit miffed with us. Hoping it will clear out by Imbolc.
I’m on vacation this week so I plan to do quite a bit for Imbolc. I’m going to make oatmeal blackberry scones tomorrow and I’m going to do a special altar blessing spell. I’m going out with my local Pagan group Friday night and we’re going to do a swap of witchy things that no longer serve us but others may enjoy ( interesting that you mentioned that in your video!). We’re also going to do some energy sensing. I got the cutest little lamb pin and I’m so excited to wear it to the celebration. I hope you have a fantastic Imbolc and I’m glad you’re staying safe!

First off, can we please have the drink recipe - it sounds amazing! Secondly....yes to the feeling of movement and change; a friend and I have been drawing the same cards in our daily draw, and I'm having what I can best describe as sensations of messages from the past; this is really hard to describe but it's been very frequent. I haven't celebrated Imbolc previously because of other anniversaries at this time; but perhaps this is the year to start a new tradition.
I use Digital Candles 🕯️ no flame & no smoke. I have a “starStrand” set of purple candles, they use AA Rechargable batteries & last alot longer then the candles that recharge directly. I can let my cat on my alter during spells & divination without her getting burned or wax spilling. Great Video! Subscribed 🧹

there is a tradition to leave a scarf or cloth to represent brigid's cloak out on a bush overnight on imbolc eve for brigid to bless for the coming year, so I am actually knitting a shawl to use for that this imbolc.
That drawer that you referred to at about 28:40 - I call that the "Black Hole" because everything gets sucked into it, and nothing can ever escape. 😅

I’m been wanting an altar for a year now. I love seeing how much your changes. I think I’m come to the realization that I need a workspace altar and a prayer/celebration altar.

It's storming terribly where I am as well in the southeastern US (although we just have tons of rain, not the super high winds). This after being frozen last week with temps in the teens Fahrenheit ( negative 11 Celsius) - which may not seem very cold to many people, but here in the Deep South, we are not used to it. I think Mother Nature is a bit miffed with us. Hoping it will clear out by Imbolc.

I’m on vacation this week so I plan to do quite a bit for Imbolc. I’m going to make oatmeal blackberry scones tomorrow and I’m going to do a special altar blessing spell. I’m going out with my local Pagan group Friday night and we’re going to do a swap of witchy things that no longer serve us but others may enjoy ( interesting that you mentioned that in your video!). We’re also going to do some energy sensing. I got the cutest little lamb pin and I’m so excited to wear it to the celebration. I hope you have a fantastic Imbolc and I’m glad you’re staying safe!

First off, can we please have the drink recipe - it sounds amazing! Secondly....yes to the feeling of movement and change; a friend and I have been drawing the same cards in our daily draw, and I'm having what I can best describe as sensations of messages from the past; this is really hard to describe but it's been very frequent. I haven't celebrated Imbolc previously because of other anniversaries at this time; but perhaps this is the year to start a new tradition.
I use Digital Candles 🕯️ no flame & no smoke. I have a “starStrand” set of purple candles, they use AA Rechargable batteries & last alot longer then the candles that recharge directly. I can let my cat on my alter during spells & divination without her getting burned or wax spilling. Great Video! Subscribed 🧹

I'm planning to make my Bannock tonight and set the table. Still trying to figure out the main meal- I have to work so I'm looking at slow cooker soups with Sabbat honoring ingredients. I'm a vegetarian which makes feast meals a little more tricky, I can't just stew a nice cut of meat and call it a day! Planning to give my altar a good clean and change-up as well, got some pretty flowers. Hope you have a blessed sabbat!
