Today we're talking about Ostara, what it is and how you can celebrate it. There are many different ways to celebrate this festival, and everyone is going to have different opinions, these are just a few of the many. Hopefully, you will find something you want to do with your own celebrations.

This will be my first Ostara as a witch. I made an altar with a rabbit, eggs and pastel crystals. I also bought pink roses and fresh lavender today.

In Sweden we don't do the hare/rabbit thing, we do rooster, hens and chickens. The rooster lay eggs once a year, at easter. Hence the colourful eggs. :)

The hens lay the eggs, not ten roosters since they are male. But that’s really interesting!
I still color eggs for the celebration. It usually overlaps with Easter, although I don't celebrate that anymore. There is also a nice dinner at the Equinox, often a stuffed chicken and green veggie sides. Have a lovely Ostara everyone!
I do as well. I escaped Christianity a few years ago and have carried over some of the Easter holiday. It’s super pagan even in the Christian version anyway 😂 My son is just 9 so the pressure to celebrate the way the Christian’s do is a pain…

im not a witch but more so a spiritual pagan so i just started with samhain celebrating the wheel of the year and this was my first ostara, i did spring cleaning and set up my ostara bowl, very simple

I'm making sun tea with loose leaf green tea and Egyptian blue water lily. I have my little candle altar that I do for all the sabbats, decorated with flowers, crystals, salts etc in Ostara colors, and I'm wearing some pastel colors too. I'm going to go on a walk later and take some nature photos, and tonight I'll take a ritual bath and do an oracle spread for past, present, and future. I live in a rather sacred place as it is, inside a volcanic crater, right at the edge.
I still have winter for another few months, however maple season is here and there is a lot of culture significance around maple syrups with with Ojabwai tribe in my area so I am going to use that in my magical working. I live by the Great Lakes of North America, so I am going to the beach to honor her and a frozen waterfall to listen to the ice break

What's honestly hilarious on my end is that on Imbolc I wanted to begin the process of manifesting a new home. There have been bumps in the road but we recently got a new home secured. Our last day is on the 21st and the move out/move in is on the 22nd. Definitely going to be doing a cleanse around the new apartment so this move is very symbolic. Wonderful video Hearth!

I'm planting seeds of all the following! : jalenpeno's, red bell peppers, orange bell peppers, pepperoncini peppers, rosemary, onions, motherwort, rosemary, belladonna , red poppies & wildflowers! I'm also buying & planting tomato sprouts! I'm so excited to make my garden larger this year!! I also bought a mini cypress tree ilk keep in the house this year. 2 years I ago planted a double knockout rose bush that's doing well. I buried my beloved cat last april beside the roses. I love gardening to eat & use the other plants & flowers for workings. 100% recommend. XX 💙

Hearth I know you have talked about having Christain witch friends Hun. Could you please ask them for others that we maybe able to follow as christain witches. And see how they go about there practicing. I think that would be interesting and something not Alot of information about and hard for those that do walk that path and relates to it. Maybe have them over or a get together and do a video with them that would be pretty cool I think. Love always and Blessed Be 💜

Wooden eggs for Ostara sounds like a wonderful idea. They are also protective. Wooden eggs keep chickens from pecking their real eggs.
