Just some way to claim back your privacy in Windows 10
That's all good,but don't fool people,there is no privacy on Win 10,even if you switch off settings.It's better to say, "Do this things if you want to feel,you have more privacy".
It would have been nice if you provided links to the software you mentioned in the video.
I don't mind about privacy but Telemetry is terrible I disable telemetry and data collection in Winaero Tweaker

to be honest there is no choice to disable telemetry and data collection in the Winaero software. You just follow the tricks on the winaero site, am i right?
3 days ago I was reading Microsoft's privacy policy agreement which I found it as a rip off my personal life!
This way I found it easy and less time consuming.

shut up 10 is the one I got , easy to use and tell you at a glance exactly what feature you are disabling and how important it is . Plus it leaves the ones that windows needs by highlighting in red. Which is great if you are not sure what a feature does and how it will impact the system.
win10privacy is much better. It gives a nice description of what most options and services do. And all in one package.

I just have a second laptop (win10) with some of my main files and projects which was never (except after the clean install to download drivers) and will never be connected to the internet.

Thanks, manually is safer but a pia since theres so much stuff in OS these days. Not to mention stuff you miss (not saying these programs catch everything either tho as OS keeps adding stuff!)

My big question is, and this relates to basic system tweaking: can you use more than one of these tweaking programs sequentially? Do they interfere with one another? No, that's not the right question...Let's say I want to turn off telemetry; I apply tweaks in one program, say ShutUp10 and restart; then I open say Ultimate Windows Tweaker. This second program of course does not tell me that those particular settings I previously changed have already been turned off; the slider bars indicate that I can turn them off, so I turn them off 'again' in UWT. Now, this is where I show my ignorance, and get the eggheads to start groaning: I'm guessing it's a simple toggle from the computer's side, that the registry setting have been changed, so an additional command to change them does nothing. So, theoretically no problem running 2 or 3 or any amount of these programs to change settings. Or is there something I'm missing about it? -cheers
Chances are that if the 1st program has changed a setting, the 2nd or after will already see that the specific setting is changed. The upside to using multiple programs would be that some may find settings that others have missed. I hope that answers your question.

With shut up 10 I have noticed some resources to be freed, so it's even better on weak/old machines.

My Windows 10 Professional is free upgrade from Windows seven. Since then, I very rarely get the chance to go into the BIOS at startup. Can using this program give me back that option?
4:13 You mention the manual applied changes will be 'undone' by major updates, but how's that with the Debotnet-applied changes?
All reinstated after each CU update now. MS changed that after 1809, so do an CU update, and then you will be back at square one, nice of Microsoft ain't it? Rat bags!

One question if you already know that windows is spying why are you promoting the new edge browser in one of youre other videos would that make this settigs usless because now you give anyway everything by edge? or is the browser with the right settigs usable?

I have a problem to my laptop ,Windows 10 home
I can not write anymore nothing in the search box and as well in any windows box from factory ...After many try and many tutorials , nothing works. I was thinking to reset ( refresh ) the windows to the factory settings but the Biggest issue is ....I can not write nothing as well in password box fro Wifi ...and I am afraid to do that because without wifi can not be refreshed

After running debotnet , I get a "atkex_cmd.exe has stopped working" message . Its an audio file located in C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA

I'd love to claim back my privacy, but what's the point doing all this work when theoretically the very next day Windows does it update and undoes all your work.
Guys, please for your own sake and any system you are running with Windows 10, DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING on Windows 10 base unless you know hundred percent what you are changing and what it means. It was told many times on this video to you and please take it seriously otherwise when you see your system crashed on the very next system update, you should know who to blame instead of Microsoft!

My Windows 10 Task Manager is not showing NETWORK USAGE. It always shows 0% in the Task Manager, but it shows everything fine in Resource Monitor. So, the issue is merely with the Task Manager.
Also, this started to happen after I disabled some process in Task Manager, but now I don't remember which service that was.
If you do a restart (not a shutdown, followed by a start up) the serviced you disabled will run again and you should be able to see what happened. You could have a pen & paper handy to write down what you disable to try to replicate the issue. I'm no expert, but it may give you a place to start. Good luck.

Yeah, make a system restore point when Windows 10 do not save registry entries making the whole restore point totally useless.
I also find it funny, that you have to use third party programms to have at least partialy usable OS.
So no, MS can put this parody to where the Sun does not shine.
Basically. You install Windows Pro, what you get is Windows Arcade. You have to use all these programs to get rid of all the crap
