- In this video I show the earliest point in the game to get the sword in the stone, and how to get it easier by not having to max out all your strength stats.
This method involves increasing your physique, toughness, and health by 5,3 and 2 respectively, from the point that you first attempt to pull the sword.
So if you have 2 in all stats and pull the sword, you will fail, and will have to increase them to 7, 5, and 4 respectively before you will succeed.
For this reason it is most efficient to keep your strength stats, particularly physique as low as possible to make it cheaper experience wise.

My favourite sword in the game, even use it over avos tear but always use the sword of aeons on an evil playthrough

Use heavy weapons.....great sword,hreat hammer and so on.....i always use those and be bulky early on in the game
Fable II and Fable I are 2 of my favorite games of all time.. I wont lie, I think Fable II is better but Fable I was a heavy hitter and super addicting just like the 2nd.

That's more of a weapon class issue
all the katanas in game are stronger than the longsword counterparts.
Same applies for the legendary weapons in the game, which is why bereaver is the strongest weapon in the game (greatswords are the strongest)

I started a new strategy where I just kill 1019 guards in Oakvale so I don't have to do it later in the game for the Easter egg. Then I use all that XP I got to max out my strength stats.

@@PTMG most people that do the 100% speedruns haven't ever heard of the easteregg.. so I don't think so? There's nothing in the game that tells you how much completion you have.. but whenever I do my playthroughs I make sure to unlock everything, look at every Easter egg, and get the strongest weapons as soon and as early as I can.

I mean you still have to buff up at least a little bit, but depending on when you try it, you will have to gain less levels
strongest one handed sword before to Avo's tear or Aeon's sword is Hiryuu katana 215 damage + sharpening augmentation and fire augmentation
Definitely a good one, but it takes a while to get still
Your better off just glitching the game to get sword of aeons early
For the record the sharpening augmentation just adds base damage to the weapon equal to 10% of it's original value. That means the Katana hiryu without sharpening would have a base damage of roughly 195/196, and adding the sharpening augmentation adds 10% damage which is roughly 20 damage (19.5/19.6) which equals 215 damage.
stacking sharpening augmentations on a weapon is an easy way to just get a weapon with high base damage output
PlokTheMasterGamer true xD but the stone in the rock have one sharpening augmentetation too, that means his basic damage is 180 that number is exactly the same if you put 3 sharpening augmentetations to master long sword.
PD: that bug is insane I personally don't get that sword because I don't like looks like a mass of steroids.

I have max out things, when I check my stats, thair 6 and couldn’t pull the sword, is that a bug?
max is 7 not 6.
Supposedly it has to do with the amount of strength levels you gain after initially attempting to pull the sword. Not sure how many strength levels need raising, but if you had say 1phys, 1health, 1tough and attempted it the first time, then you would only need a couple levels in each one, again not sure exactly how many levels but probably like 3,3,3 or 4,4,4 would work. if you start at all 3,3,3 and try for the first time, you will need to raise it the same amount of levels so like either 5,5,5 or 6,6,6 would work. Of course the failproof way is to have all strength stats completely maxed out at 7,7,7.

Huh intersting, as many characters i have made from tlc to anniversary, ive always just maxed my strength. Dang thats pretty cool, i do like gettng my stats up early though. I did one run without upgraded strength besides health on tlc ans that was fun

Normal version of the game, no mods. I play through steam, but it's still just the original Fable TLC.
The graphics settings are maxed out I guess.

So I maxed my physique, health and toughness to 7 but when I press the menu button and look at the stats for my character, it says they're only on 6.. I've tried resetting my game, doing quests, buying other things & it won't change and I still can't pull the sword.. Any tips?

Are you sure you actually have them maxed out? Cause I know the screen will say like "physique 7" or whatever when you are spending exp, but it's actually giving you the option to buy physique 7, not telling you you have physique 7
Again I'm not sure cause I've never ran into this issue, but I would try spending some strength xp again and see if you are actually level 7

Man, I never knew that it is all random. I mean, I decided to replay Fable after a long time and, well I got my strength on 6 and I could not pull that sword out, so I thought that you have to max out all of the strength. So maybe, I should return to the stone and try again. Oh, by the way, I decided to be a good guy in this my playthrough, and thus, I throw that other sword that you get after beating final boss, away. Maybe a bad idea, but since I decided to do a good guy save file, it could be right decision. Anyway, I have to try and take that sword out of the stone. Maybe it will work.
easiest way is just to max all strength skills to 7
@@PTMG Too late. I have found a sword that is a lot powerful than the one in stone. But, I decided to pull that one out of the stone and... well, at this point, that sword from the stone is useless.
What is the diference between tlc and annivesary?
Mostly just graphics, and the user interface, but also its a completely different engine so certain glitches don't work anymore, and also certain game mechanics are different, such as the exclusion of hero saves in anniversary.
Nope just tried it. But some of the glitches still work on it just not that one. All you really need is your physique at 7 done all the time that way

Yeah I don't think I've ever maxed everything but strength before, I didn't quite realize that other stats could effect your player size as well.
Not actually sure what did it, I think it was the will that made me taller. all the Skill stats seemed to make me look toner, and gave me abs etc.

I got the original CD prolly back in like 2006 or 2007, it didn't hit steam till like 2015 or so I wanna say, and I was able to use the same CD key from my original copy to activate on steam
Fun fact fable TLC was my first legally pirated game. I legally owned the game and product key which meant that it wasn't illegal for me to pirate the game when one of the 4 installation discs became too scratched to be able to install the game. If it wasn't for things like bittorrent or pirate bay I would have had to buy a whole new copy of the game

That's odd... You have all the strength stats maxed out (physique, health, and toughness)?
You might have to try it twice possibly. Try it once, then i dunno leave the area or teleport away or something, then come back and try again.
If it still doesn't work maybe try pulling it out, then going to the guild and spending more exp on something (skill, spells etc.) then going back to try it.
You need all 3 maxed

But I know some people have also mistaken the way they show your skills like "physique 7, health 7, toughness 7" when you are spending experience so thats why I ask about that specifically.
Some people mistakenly think they are already level 7, when this is actually the option to BUY level 7, and once you buy level 7 it says "MAX".

Your right the katana is stronger. But you can still get the sword in the stone a bit earlier than the katana (and yes it needs keys)
In terms of the physical stats thing, it's not a "no time" thing, just less time. So it's 3 level ups in each field of strength from where they currently are when you first attempt the sword in the stone.
So if you have 1 phys 1 health 1 toughness, then tried the sword, it would fail, but it would work again after you level each one 3 times to get to 4 phys 4 health 4 tough.
@@PTMG yeah but depends on it like you can get that cleaver in that demon door that requires 14 multiplier altho not that strong since its like a starter legend
definitely a solid choice early on
I usually get the cleaver (wait for the moss giant to spawn in front of it, hide behind rock, hold back bow for 60 seconds, and release on the moss giant. Instant kill, instant 25 multiplier) and use that until I get enough assassins rush and summon to get the aeons early

It will always work, but it will depend on what your levels were when you first tried.
lets say you first tried with all strength at level 6
obviously you can't have 11 physique 8 health and 9 toughness because the max level is 7
In these cases maxing out the stat to 7 works

then you would need to max it out
It's an either or thing, so if you don't have enough skill raises left to raise 5 levels (or however much it is i forget), you just level it to max and it works

Soon you will realize how little there is to purchase in fable
Once you make a million you can pretty much afford every single in game item and house etc.
just max all strenght perk this could be easelly done without any cheat, all you need is 2 hours approximativelly, and to know the "warp" trigger at darkwood culis gates (you can make ennemies respawn till end of time by killing them then : cross the bridge next to the culis, or go back to the tops of the stairs or go to the edge of the culis gate location, and stick to the rivers, be aware that the troll have to totally desapear to respawn)
Then you max all strenght as I said, and don't forget to max mana bar as well, because it gain you a bit of strenght (don't ask I'm just a dude who's finish the game hundred time during my childhood not a dev)
you can then go to oakvall and abuse the seller, sell him rubis, then purchase them back, again and again, the dude sell for less than he buy them. infinite money and exp right at the start of the game, without any cheats. (not like this dude in this video)

for the record you don't even need a first attempt, that is only if you are planning on doing it without max strength
if you had +7 +7 +7 it would work first try, or even second try if you tried it at a lower level and failed

when you are level 6 it says 7 on everything in the experience portal (as in you can buy level 7) once you buy level 7 it will say MAX
