Hi Shaun. Thanks for sharing this adventure. You sure worked hard. Very generous to let the locals eat the fish. Looking forward to your next video. Kind regards Michael
I don`t understand why you don`t have more subscribers, You have an informative platform on fishing, and it is entertaining, Thanks for your time in putting together a fun video to watch.
You never disappoint man. I've been on adventures in different countries and the people are part of the process. Man gotta love new faces in different places. Not always about catching. God is good for us fishermen. We see stuff most Americans don't. Just people in New places. Nice tarpon and all those different species. Adventure bro. Respect safe travels.
Sure you can.... I walked to the Interstate in 1981 & w/ my 13' - 3 piece surf rod & a bag of tackle/clothes I traveled from Texas down to Key West Florida...... an 11 month fishing trip where I sold corn on the cobb at Mallory Square by day & fished off that place by night. I like your trip better & thanks for sharing it. peace & Merry New Year
Mr. Lawless, I am learning Spanish with a free podcast called, Learncraft Spanish. It’s taught by a white dude named Timothy. Each lesson is in manageable, 15 to 20 minute sessions. It’s been VERY effective for me for two distinct reasons. 1) Timothy is a native English speaker from America, so he understands the particular nuances of the challenges that another native English speaker faces. He excels at conceptualizing the framework of the English to Spanish transition. 2) Timothy starts with the challenging concepts of sentence structure first. If you listen to one episode per day, the first two weeks are the difficult part. After that the linguistic scaffolding is established and then you can learn the easy part. Once you start, locate yourself a Latino grocery and make some friends. While you’re purchasing avocados and tortillas start practicing with folks. Latino people are some of the kindest humans on the planet. Stick with it and good luck, sir. Thanks again for the epic videos. Post Script: In addition to fishing, learning Spanish is also handy for ordering food at Spanish speaking restaurants. Plus it’s fun to listen to what people are saying about you, when they think you can’t understand them 😅
Great video as always. You picked some lucky places to leave your stuff laying around. The port cities I've been to while working cruises are always sketchy. Last trip was to the Dominican, and you can't leave a single thing out of your hands or it will disappear. Headed to Jamaica in a few weeks and hoping to do a marlin trip while in port. What boat with RC were yall on? We'll be on the Independence of the Sea next
Both times you caught a grunt I would have turned around and used it for bait. Guess you didn't have heavy enough tackle but dang man you probably could have caught a nice size grouper. I'm glad you had fun and you made it back alive.
Say your wife loves you without saying your wife loves you 😂. You should have dropped your kayak off cause your a few minutes away from some pretty good fishing lol. As long as the winds aren't strong
we've done one Disney cruise and doing another in a month.... they allow 0 fishing gear to be brought on board.... 5 night cruise with 3 stops and 0 fishing.... its gonna be a rough one
Probably should have bought one of those translating earphones so you could have given your captain half and you the other and been able to communicate a lot easier. I think if I would have gone over to another country I would definitely have a pair of those earphones. Just seems logical

Oh geez
Did you need to get fishing licenses in different countries?
Every country is different, you don't need one to fish from land at those countries except for Belize.
How much are the charters down there on avg?
Between $250-$600
Cozumel is awesome waters
Hard to believe you didn’t get much at the first spot. Must be overfished or just an off day would you say?
Maybe both.
Surprised you cold bring fishing gear on a cruise ship. What cruise line did you sail on?
Royal carribean
They have translator app for your phone
Something different thought it was a great video. Wish the water would've been in your favor.
Thanks man.
@ yes sir enjoyed the video
Que paso 0 spañol 😢😢😢 alright
Probably shoulda spent more time up with your wife than struggling fishing 😂
Fishing pays the bills, so she was all for it.
Find someone to escort you in the area
I guess you can be my consultant for the next trip😂
Badass video man. I subscribed. I make fishing videos too
Thanks for watching!

Didnt even know those existed.
Been fishing and using RUclips for 15 years. Never enjoyed an account as much. Found you on instagram.
Thanks, i appreciate that a lot!
