Your tutorials are absolutely the best. Your speed in which you lay out the buttons use. A s well as the detail you go into on each sound change is a gift.
LFO’s were definitely one of the more mysterious things for me . This video is a game changer. Been watching your videos since I got the op1 field. Thanks for all the help
Really outstanding LFO tutorial. Great tutorials on the OP1F overall, and this masterclass deep dive was exceptional. Thank you thank you thank you for your work here. Your vids are a gift.
excellent as always! for the SUM in the element LFO, i find it’s very useful when you’re using velocity, the harder you hit, the stronger the modulation
Thank you!!! Yes, Random with trigger s free option would be good…it has often annoyed me too. Instead of SUM, you can of course also use the velocity LFO ;) But I agree, it's fun to use velocity for modulation…also nice if used in negative values.
Such an awesome video for amateurs like me. Sometimes the OP-1 F is overwhelming to me given all these features and I am clueless as to where to start, what to learn etc. Thanks so much for keeping the learning going for me. Subbed!!
Don't even own an OP-1, but the way you explained it and the visualizations really help me understand what an LFO is and what it's use cases are in production.
Great video! I wish teenage engineering wouldn’t call it pitch, but instead call it speed lol cus that’s what It is. I do wish the op1f would get actual pitch control with out the slowing and speeding
The Random, Element, Velocity LFO can do panning. When recording on the tape, you can press shift + turn the red encoder to "automate" pan while recording. Thanks and have a nice day too!
Excellent! This is just what I needed. When you connected the OP-1f to the OP-Z at the end it reminded me of a problem I am having. When I connect the two via usb-c and have the audio come in through the OP-1f the volume is way too high and the sounds clip. I have to turn down the input volume so low to make it not sound weird, but at the point the Z to 1 volume ratio is way off and the Z is nearly silent. Has this happened to you ever? When o connect with just line in, no problems so that’s what I’m doing currently with BLE connection to have same start/stop.
@@SONWU Hmmm, not really sure what was happening to be honest, but even before I tried your suggestion everything just started working again. So, I guess I just need to speak to the WU when I have a problem and it’ll fix itself 😀.

Excellent. I wasn't fully understanding the LFO's reading the LFO section of the guide. This brought it to life, thank you!

also the random LFO is extremely annoying because you don’t have a trigger vs free option!
Thank you!!!

@@SONWU zoops, i commented before seeing the velocity LFO section - i somehow wasn’t even aware that there was a velocity LFO!

The first sound sounds like Mac chimes startup sound or is it my Applehead biased ears?
Haha, that may be the case!

Thank you for all your tutorials, Doctor Wu. Is there a way to modulate Pan on the op1-f? Have a nice day !

Do you have the OP-1 fields sound feeding back into the OP-Z by any chance? (can be turned off on the module track)

Yessssss
🙏
i dont have any speed there
shift + 4 will let you choose between different LFO types, maybe you are using a different one?
