@@P.X.R.P.L.E because gameplay doesnt interfere with the story like at all. They literally can turn a powerful warrior into a support. And they can turn some random teenager with pyro vision into most popular character, but only for his kit
So theres no big reason to make a harbinger 100% stronger than most of other characters.
The only sad thing is Pyro is just so crowded with high dps, and if you have two or three you might not need her especially if you are free to play. Just pull her if you love her

By changing the rotation Hu Tao's DMG was 100% under vv while Arle's only the first ~1,5 sec were (you started attacking around 9,5 secs in and swirled at sec 1 thus loosing 8,5 sec aka 85% of the vv uptime and reducing her DMG by a good amount.
Note: Kazuha's A4 only lasts 8 sec, so Arlecchino played basically without having a Kazuha :3
Yep, I noticed. would have been better to swirl Pyro with kazuha after Bennet burst for full uptime.

-Kazuha burst (burst must absorb hydro for more hydro application)

-Arlecchino Charged Attack then you can go wild

Arlecchino is c0 R1 with comparitively weaker artifacts , hu tao literally has 53 more cv than arlecchino.

the thing is, on a proper Hu tao best team (Xianyun, Hu Tao, Furina and Yelan) Hu Tao would win against Arlecchino teams until you get more constellations with Arlecchino, then Arlecchino becomes better.
NA type characters aint winning against a plunge meta of Furina Xianyun

I believe Hu Tao is going to still be better in single target but Arlecchino going to be the Aoe pyro dps queen (if Xiangling got erased from the game cause she is the real pyro archon).
Yep, arlecchino's kit doesn't allow her to perform so well against single targets to begin with, you're only dealing with a single blood debt seal and her bond of life depletes way too quickly, maybe using her signature weapon can help but she would still be outperformed by a c0 hu tao with a dragon bane (a 4 star weapon)
Tho i probably think that arlecchino in AOE may be as good or potentially better than a hu tao xianyun plunge team, I'm not sure.

@@fengsanlian6514 I’ve been using her for about 2 hours and her bond of life mechanic is actually infinite, just spam normal attacks and her E is already back up. I don’t think its too short as at lvl 60 with her signature weapon at lvl 50 she does 15k dmg and drops to about 10-9k ish by the time you finish it. She’s pretty insane

I have seen other people use arle at c6 and even with similar supports, her damage is noticeably low on gladiator compared to this. I think she is affected greatly by her signature set. I am just assessing based on a few videos so it can be incorrect. Can someone confirm?

I don't have Hu Tao nor Arlecchino but if you are comparing both characters they should be equal. In here Hu Tao is C1R2 and Arlecchino is C0R1. Also Hu Tao CR and CD is 76 and 241 while Arlecchino having 70 and 206. Can you show both characters without any support. I want to see their solo damage.

i like arlechino sand she is eaiser to play than hu tao even with c1 arlechino has more aoe and itsj ust feels a bit better to paly her but hu tao is still cool so you decide who you like more ^^
Getting a new character to replace a character that fills the same role is usually just lower value for your primos than getting a new support for your current characters.
Also, Hu Tao Furina is an incredible combo, meanwhile you really don't want to use Furina with Arlecchino.
that a tough spot, i want to pull arle also but i already have c1 hutao. Their damage is pretty comparable in ST, for AOE it doesnt matter because of neuvi. So i just skip her. Its sad though cuz her gameplay is up there with al haitham in term of fun.
I only have Klee as a pyro dps (do 70k per charge attack), and I love her sm, but I got Arlecchino bcs its have some time that I didnt get a new character. hope I dont regret this, bcs I was thinking to get clorinde, c6 wrio (i have his c1) or alhaitham weapon. Oh, and I´m thinking if I should go for her weapon. What do u guys think?

34% less crit damage than Hu Tao and Hu Tao has R2 Staff of Homa. Arlecchino has R1 signature weapon. The showdown is really not that fair. Also her best team is a overload or mono pyro not the vaporize one
The biggest advantages Arlecchino over Hu Tao is that..
You can switch to a shielder or any other support character without losing PYRO infusion during combat
Moreover, you don't need to learn to cancel jump movement unlike Hu Tao
When character have so many obstacle like hp hutao & BOL arle, you know that they are really strong
Neuviliate, furina, etc they so strong....unless nahida and bloom reaction, without obstacle they all already strong😂

hutao also gets interruption resistance with her charged attack so shes clearly better (i got 3 hutao in 1 ten spin)
main issue here is the fight is to much short ,hutao is mainly a burst character ,arlecchino make overall more damage and arlecchino c1 is game changing as damage giving her a +36% damage.Wrong rotation and sub optimal artifacts and team made the difference ,arlecchino is vastly stronger than hu tao
you have to mention that your staff of homa is R2. also the cd on arlecchino was lower
Some flaws here, one you took more than a second longer on Arle set up stealing some VV duration and if you were gonna have Hu Tao at low HP then you definetly should let Arle prestack BoL as well, nothing crazy but seeing the difference it seems like it matters.

This showcase proves arlecchino is better and here's why:
1- he's comparing a C0 R1 character to a R2 C1 character
2- he didn't refresh the pyro swirl in the arlecchino run which can cause a huge damage loss he only swirled pyro at the beginning of the rotation unlike hu tao's run
3- there's a HUGE artifacts gap ! hu tao's build is almost perfect and has a piece that's almost 50 CV while arlecchino's build has Good/mid pieces since her artifact domain just came out literally hours ago !
4- if you notice arlecchino's run she didn't crit as well as hu tao she missed on really good hits that should've crit
5- all of this and yet she still almost beat hu tao by 2 seconds !
6- arlecchino doesn't need c1 to function properly unlike hu tao that has a lot of requirements in terms of dashing and canceling charge attack animations ( that could result in huge loss in damage if you miss your charge attacks ! )
7- all of this prove that arlecchino is the better unit here and it's okay to admit that.

I couldn't stress enough that sometimes the character doesn't do charged attack even after holding the atk button/left click.
You can deal 10% more dmg WITH less effort... For me, that's a great deal

It is worth mentioning that Hu Tao is just simply better in vape teams, while arlecchino would be better in overload teams. This is because Hu Tao vapes everytime due to charge attacks while arlecchino only vapes occasionally due to attacking too fast with na’s

Hu tao mains thinking she's still better lmao. The fact that the difference is just 2 seconds despite the wrong showcase on arle part and arle having weaker weapon and artifs is proof arle is stronger. If both were built fairly and was showcased fairly, arle easily wins.

@@Ermes-wn1yc I just did my own comparison. Hu tao went in for like 12 seconds, while arle got 13-ish seconds. However, I'm using 4pc glad on arle, which isn't her best artifact. Meanwhile, my hu tao is cracked with godly 4pc Crimson artifact pieces. The fact arle is this close despite using 4 pc glad is fucking insane. For sure, if I was using arle's best artifact set with the same crit values as hu tao's 4pc crimson, arle would easily win. Forgot to mention my alre is 9/8/1 talents but my hu tao is 10/10/9
The amount of charged attacks the guy has done in the video can be easily done by even C0 Hutao's though. R2 Homa is also a very miniscule DPS increase, not forgetting as he didn't even use her burst to nuke at the start of the rotation. Arle's definitely still really good though and seems easier to build since Glad is pretty easy to get.

It's a fact though, Hutao is still absolutely monstrous as a Pyro DPS even years after her release. Arle's definitely still good but in a boss run? Hutao is definitely the go to. Arle has much more advantage in AOE scenarios
Funny right? I main hutao and invested a lot into her ( c6 , c6 yelan and furina as support ) but I believe Arlecchino is much stronger and not coping hard just to save my main pixel character

I have arlecchino c0 and hutao c1 both at r0. After quite some testing. At c0 arlecchino and c1 hutao. I can say arlecchino won. She has smoother gameplay and higher dmg overall. But when i pair hutao+furina+xianyun (which currently is her best team comp) it result in equal performance(i am sure those hutao main surely have this team comp available right now). Tho right now i can no longer test hutao vs arlecchino cuz i c2r1 arlecchino and now she totally broke everything and even bested my best team which is c1 neuv+furina. Btw my arlecchino team consist of bennett, arlecchino, zhongli, yelan (since i am sure most players use this team comp for comfortable play. And this team comp with c2r1 arlecchino still bested my c1 neuv+furina. Even the whale died before it can eat me first)

should have used the same rotation for both smh. Arle was playing with no Kazuha A4 and only 1.5s on VV while Hu Tao had 100% uptime on A4 and VV aswell as an extra constellation and better artifacts to compensate. Arle clears in an even scenario

That's cap right there. Arle is way more flexible and fun than Hutao. Also the criteria damage is way higher than Hutao. This person just did her dirty with supports.
This isnt a fair comparison because this isnt what arlechinno is meant for. She is much more sustainable then hu tao because hu taos pyro infusion is very short and she heavily relies on vape + u have better artifacts for her.

At the end of the day, they both have their advantages and they can both 36 star abyss, so it really doesn’t matter which one you get. If you like Arlecchino, get her. If you like Hu Tao better, then play her. They’re both pyro DPS, so they have the same role. So a big womp womp to all of you who are getting in your feelings over pixels in a video game.
