  • Step 1: Place your dumbbells on the floor about shoulder width apart so that they face each other.
    Step 2: Grab the dumbbells and extend your hips so that your knees are slightly behind you.
    Step 3: Keeping your core braced, shoulders pulled away from your ears, and elbows tucked into your torso, descend into your pushup until your chest gently touches the floor.
    Step 4: Press back up and extend your legs behind you placing your feet a little wider than shoulder width apart.
    Step 5: Squeeze your legs tight and hold on to the dumbbells as you twist and reach one arm up into the air.
    Step 6: Return the dumbbell to the floor and bend your knees again to return them to the floor.
    Step 7: Descend into the next repetition.
    Step 8: Press back up and repeat the same steps but switch which side you twist and reach.
    Step 9: Continue in this manner for the specified number of repetitions alternating which side you twist and reach each time.
