  • Why not make your iPhone into a classic "flip-number" clock of the 70s, and charge it at the same time?!
Here's my story on why - and how - i did it, and how YOU can do it too!
It's quite awesome, if I do say so myself!

I’m so happy to find this. I had somehow come across a photo of your clock on Instagram. I made one using walnut and cherry to mimick the photo I saw. If I remember I’ll try to share a photo with you at some point. Really liked seeing how you built yours. I think I made it a tad harder than it needed to be. ;)

Cool idea. I've been looking for an old clock to refinish with a wood case.

That's cool bro! Good idea with cutting the cove on table saw. I recently made a phone amp and wanted a Cove type shape for the speaker or part if you want to call it that cut it out on the bandsaw in sanded it and you just spoke Shea's didn't quite turn out the way I wanted to but the way you did it on the table saw is exactly how I wanted it to turn out so thanks for the tip and that's a really cool idea man I don't have an iPhone but my wife into kids do thanks for sharing great video did you use the table saw to get those lines in the top or a router

How did you handle the cord?

The charging cord enters the back and comes out the speaker, on the speakers left side

I did it myself with the Stodoys plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.
