Yes, the pitching matchup’s favor the Padres in this series. Regardless, winning a series at Chavez Ravine is never easy. This will be great baseball ⚾️ with a playoff vibe….Go Padres!

Should be pointed out that Flaherty has been a good pickup for the Dodgers but hasn't been perfect and imploded a game or two. Can he keep the entire Padres lineup down? Some might say not likely. And Buehler just hasn't had Ace stuff this year. Maybe he needs more time to recover. Same thing for Suarez in the Padres last year, maybe the player is physically not going to re-injure himself but there's more to getting into playing shape than being medically cleared. Anyway, the Dodgers will need to win at least one of the three games and then sweep the Rockies to likely win the West because after the Dodgers series the Padres will be playing the last 2 games against the D-backs who will be playing for their postseason lives unless the Braves don't win at least one more game than break even to the end of the season. Will the Padres do well against both the Dodgers and D-backs? Both are good teams highly motivated to play hard and pull out all the stops to win every game. The postseason starts early for all 3 teams. But the Padres have a winning regular season record against both teams and their record isn't better because of losing big against the Rockies and Marlins
Padres do well against good teams and not so well against trash teams, with that being said San Diego owns LA this season tie breakers and all. Diamondbacks will easily be defeated, we will take 2-3.
Interesting. Sounds like the Dodgers bullpen is weaker than I thought and Buehler is on the decline. Nice. Let’s see how our ace’s pitch against their offense. Ohtani has not done well against our starters so let’s keep that going 😀
The Dodger pitching will be their demise as it is EVERY year! Can they out-slug most teams? Yes, but the playoffs are a different beast and imo, not a sustainable way to win. Pitching is what gets it done. Hey Will Smith? How’s it going for you? Last I checked Profar is having a better year than you!

@@JustShotz718True! The Padres have been owned by The Dodgers. SD finally got the upper hand on LA in the 22 playoffs and this year. As fans we are running with it ! We'll take what we can get. Lets hope SD and LA can meet up in the playoffs!
Its the Playoffs sure thing is that the Dodgers will Choke and this year they have Zero Pitching, which is the most important commodity to have. Sorry everyone wants to cherry pick your team.

The Padres pitching lines up well in this series. King, Cease & Musgrove. Gotta love it, we have a chance.
Lets just hope the offense can give our pitching some run support so it's not save situations every game🤞

Suarez, as per usual, had me STRESSIN. Almost filled the bases for Ohtani in the bottom of the 9th down by 2 😭😭
Yamamoto probably gets nervous playing against Darvish's team.
