🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂. I was just getting ready to say that your dad, Jamie Dimon, called and he wants you to get a hair cut and then I saw your comment. 🙃. At least you have hair.🧑🏻🦲.
It's the message, not the messenger we are concerned with. Now if utilization is the 2nd biggest factor in credit scoring, what is the first biggest factor?
IMO each Lender is slightly different about CLIs. This is what i've learned to do for each: Citibank: SP request every 6mths Discover: SP request 1x per 1-2 yrs Synchrony: SP request every 4 - 6mths Chase: spend heavy, pay off, update income every 6mths Capital 1: depends on which bucket you're in
Doc, How do know what bucket your in with CO1 . I just got approve for CO1 Savor one Low spent $300. How can I increase that too $500 or $1K can’t do much with $300.
Personally, I am still in the accumulating phase in my credit card journey so for me to increase my credit score I have been relying on getting new cards to do so. It works really well if you are already getting new cards, but like you mentioned, it is not worth it to get a new card just for the credit limit increase. Great video Chase!
Thanks for sharing Spencer! 🙏🏽 keep rackin up those credit cards. but not too much at one time 😅 I appreciate you for always watching and commenting! 🤙🏽
You're on the right track. If you want more credit just get another card. Some issuers will do a hard pull, so you might as well get a card that will round out your portfolio.
Nice topic and good to know. I normally don’t pay much attention to the credit limit since I am not a big spender and pay off my balance to avoid interest. Not sure if you have a video on explaining credit scores but it would also be a good topic to cover. How applying for credit cards affect credit scores, how certain loans (mortgage, student loans, personal loans) affect credit scores. Just sharing some ideas :)
Amex is the exception to the CLI increase waiting game. You can 3x your limit on your first card after 61 days. Anything over 25k and they may review it. Make sure your income is correctly provided (Don't lie). Any CLI after that is 6 months
I just recently got a HUGE increase on my BofA cash rewards. I have to carry a balance for about 2 months on another card that has a promo 0% interest until next year, so that increase will keep my utilization low. besides that I pay all my other cards in full.. Aye Chase always great brodie 👊🏽💥
iv'e had my Chase Freedom Unlimited card for well over a year with a $500 limit. Iv'e used the crap out of it and always paid my balances off on time. They still haven't increased my limit. Should i just bite the bullet on the credit limit increase hard inquiry?
Have you been maxing out the limit? Or are you keeping the utilization low? If its the latter, I would look into maybe applying for the Chase Freedom Flex (if it makes sense for you now) before requesting a limit increase.
Having a high credit means nothing. You wanna pay off your card before the bill drops anyway. Even if you miss the bill drop, you need to pay the card off in full always any way. Utilization doesn't have a long term impact if you pay your cards in full, which if you don't or can't do, you lost the points and miles game and shouldn't play it. You never need more credit than you have cash on hand.
@@MH-et5sn I 100% understand credit. If you think credit is an extension of your income you should never use it, because you are doing it all wrong. Again, you never need more credit than you have cash on hand.
I'm sorry in advance that my hair looks like a Karen wig. I promise I'll look better next time 🥺

This video was recommended to me I’m not even 20 seconds in and read this comment. I’m weak 🤣😂😭😭😂😂 I’m going to watch the video now lollll
Speaking of Karen wigs, can you add chapter time stamps to make it easier to navigate the video, thanks 😊

Chile a Karen wig 😂😂😂.....
I set a reminder to call my credit card company every 13 months and ask for a $5000 increase without a credit check. So far they have always said yes.
Wow nice tactic 👍🏽 im glad its been working out! Keep milking it! 🤙🏽 Thank you for watching.
Well if crazy machine gun kelly had a chance w Megan fox maybe so will u lol

Low spent $300.
How can I increase that too $500 or $1K can’t do much with $300.
@@Anthonyjones-pq4ff heavy spending helped me
I've brought my credit up 90 points on the last 6 months doing just this. Time to up my limit so I can reap more benefits
Yayyy nice to hear that Joshua! 🤙🏽 Thank you for watching.

True they are pretty lenient with those 3x limit increases. Maybe I gotta make a dedicated video on them 😬 Thank you Jeff! 🤙🏽
Just tried increasing my limit on a CSR, I was told a hard inquiry would be pulled. I rather apply for a new card
Ya Chase is one of the credit card companies that will do a hard inquiry on ur credit limit increase request :(

As long as you got it under control Mike and pay off that balance before the 0% interest period is over 👍🏽 Thank you for always watching my guy! 🤙🏽
Chase, I take your tip about applying for new credit cards vs asking for increases as a focal point of my credit card strategy.
Nice to hear Omar! 🙏🏽 Im glad you found something that works for you. Thank you for watching 🤙🏽
Thanks for the information, great to know!
Glad it was helpful!
i just called up chase and asked for an increase and they doubled mine on the freedom unlimited.
WHOAAA seriously?! 😱 CONGRATULATIONS Raiden! 🔥 It really is that simple.
Chase, I LOVE your jokes 😂😂😂
Hahah I'm glad that its not just me that thinks so 😅 Thank you for watching Lalit 👍🏽
Chase, Circus manager 🤡🤡🤡
Can I ask for a credit increase 6 months after I got my first credit card?
6 months should be long enough! 👍🏽 Thank you for watching.
I want to get a CLI like the one in the thumbnail 😂
hahaha u right Manny 🤣 me too
They also do auto increases with good habits
I got an automatic credit limit increase in like 2 months for 2 of my credit cards 🤷♀️
👀 Seriously?! thats pretty awesome! Doesn't happen too often. Thank you Anh! 🤙🏽
How you get collections off your report
wait about 8 years lol
How do I get rid of hard inquiries?
Most of the time you just wait for them to fall off. Or you can do stuff like contact the original lender.

@@ChaseYokoyama I’m over 5/24 :( so even if I wanted to I couldn’t. I’m waiting until the end of the year to start applying for bus ink cards
