Last yr was my first attempt I was literally scoring 70's around in majority of mocks but managed to clear prelims. I didn't stress much about my mock marks, I used them majorly to gain knowledge and to know how I am going to attempt the paper. Using mocks for knowledge rather than just stressing over marks is important.
I was getting 24 as lowest and 56 as highest prior to 23 pre , yet managed to score 79 in gs 1.. So cool down guys test series asks you informations , but in actual exam you have to think more logically ..
I have cleared 3 prelims. Let me tell that do only 1 test series and revise questions 3-4 times. Use tests only to get extra information (especially history and environment). Do PYQs and revise usual books. You are good to go
Hii, i wanted to ask when did you join test series. Can I join test series around September - October as in mid sessions of the test series program or do I have to join in the June-july itself when the test series programs begins. And should I give after having a thorough reading once or just at the beginning of the preparation itself. Iam really confused. Kindly help.

Now days despite analysis ,revision of static but my marks decreased in full length test means 40 to 64 then 56 then 30 marks which so stress I am very dis hearted 😢 please I hope i will find some relief
I don't know if this is something others have also noticed, but it's been happening with me.I am scoring in better in Vision's tests than Vajiram ones.Idk why! Questions are more or less similar in pattern. However, it has got lill better after realizing that I am not good at Random clicking.I have increased my score by simply attempting 65-70 questions max. This has become very important to not click factual questions simply by guessing. Number of questions to attempt should be between 60-75 max in new pattern.

Agar ap 8/10 times surplus me rhoge then good to goo thats why many toppers attempt. 90+ questions Mera toh surplus hi rehta hau bas matter ye karta ki pehli iteration , pehle 70 me maximum sahi hone chahiye ye nahi ki waha v tukka maar diye

My marks were almost similar to PYQ and mock test but I would say 2-3 marks ups in PYQ but marks gap were 15-18 and can’t improve my negative marks after 10 mock test 6 would sectional and 4 would be full length test which is stressing because if I don’t clear PYQ cutoff the.how I could clear 2024 preliems which biggest stressing for me and I am in my 3 round of PYQ
Sir around 40/45 questions I attempt with surety and accuracy here is good but when I attempt the rest 40 questions which are 50-50 chances questions which are supposed to be guessed I am getting maximum wrong which is causing low marks , how to deal with those questions
I attempt around 30 with surety and around 30 questions which are 50-50. I have obvious fields to improve upon, but you are probably clearing the cutoff everytime no?

If you ready to do a triple aur quarter level of hardwork from which you did till today than definitely dear you are eligible for upsc here you all need sacrifice , determination , patience , hardwork and focus and you good to go

Getting 10-20-30 marks in every test...reason is lack of revision...

I had scored 110+ marks in mocks in 2023 in visuon , forum and insights test series but i failed in real upsc exam and scored only 70.96
