- Going over and playing around with the new TRX High Trail, love this thing! Just installed new tires, wheels, hobbywing motor/ESC, and traxxas 400 servo.
Wheels: www.SSD-RC.com
Tires: Proline Mickey Thompson Baja Pro X
Motor: Hobbywing Fusion 1800kv
Steering servo: Traxxas 2255 High Torque 400 servo
Hell yeah good vid(: loved your lights gave me a couple ideas 💡
Use a 2200mah 3s lipo and mount it on the front battery tray and it will climb like a mountain goat and not tip backward. You will still get 30 minutes of run time when crawling. Anything under a 60/40 weight bias will make it tip backward on climbs. The SSDs and MT tires like sweet!
there is alot of light bleed through the bodies I might mess around with paint inside the body
Too top heavy! What do you call this video? Crawler Fails?
A lot has been changed since this video, this was my first time getting into the crawling scene, learned a lot with this truck. The 2.2’s are long gone, lowered the truck with regular trx4 springs but kept the high trail shocks so have all the flex I can get.
@@Climb385 Honestly flex is overrated. I keep flex to a minimum on all my trucks.
Yeah racing nice! My whole 10.3 gladiator is basically a full yeah racing build lol
I need that light kit
Yeah racing is bottom of the barrel. They're just cheap Chinesium. There's much better RC parts out there.
What lights are those? They are probably the brightest I've seen. My K10 is on order and I want super bright lights. Thank you!
MyTrickRC makes much better lights. Much brighter.
Are those tires 2.2 or 1.9 and if they are 2.2 do you get much body rub?
2.2’s and required a good bit of body trimming, and thicker brass axle hexes to stop the rubbing on front arms at full lock
I have the samix 8 mm brass hex installed right now , I just have to trim the body . I have a set of 2.2 Showdown that are huge.
I shot a rc car truck 4x4
Why did you put those ugly tires and quills on there The ones that came on it would have been your best option they just make the truck look so ugly
It's his truck not yours. He can make it how he likes.
Nice ! Is the front pushbar from Traxxas? Thanks
It's a Traxxas Part. MODEL# 8138
