I have a 2013 SEL Escape n it’s the exact same engine as edge. I’m escape has over 210,000km and runs perfectly fine. To this day (knock on wood) I haven’t put any $$ on it except normal oil changes, tires etc. I just bought an edge titanium will get it soon. I trust this engine n why I’m sticking with it. I know people with older Escape n still running well.
Thanks for a very thoughtful review. We buy our cars based on Consumer Reports recommendations. Our last new car was a 2015 RAV4 and before that a new 2010 CRV. They are good cars and our kids now own them. Based on CR recommendations we just purchased a new 2023 Edge and love it. Our Toyota and Honda were reliable but felt cheap and were noisy. The Edge feels like a luxury car and according to CR is reliable. We'll see. We baby our cars and follow the maintenance schedules strictly so I expect long term reliability. We don't plan to use sport mode 🥴Also we couldn't get a good deal on a RAV4 or CRV whereas Ford gave us a $3400 discount plus 3 years financing at 0.9%. Thanks again for your insight.
Hello there I currently own a Ford Edge Titanium the issue I have my cars get old new I’m wondering how it’s going to do .. The engine it’s being used in other models I don’t hear that much issues . My father in law had a car with the 2.0 litter and he abused it till about 120,000 worry free.. You know the other thing people hardly do is a long term review see how it holds up .. Great video thank you very much one more you forgot the window feature..
I had a 14 Edge, very good model, no issue at all. My family size increased, so I had to go up to Explorer when I bought my new ride. But the new technology in Edge is awesome, would love to buy it again if my family size stay the same

Wish they didnt drop the 3.5
If you go ST trim you will have a six cylinder turbo.
EPA says 23 to 28 mpg. 20mpg is poor.
Its a pig on gas like all other Fords.
Lexus is luxury?😂
You forgot about the automatic high beam sensor & tailgate sensor will lower tailgate also, scares you first time you accidentally set it off.
