Update: I went a day or two after you and the race one was open, I went on Thursday last week, and the one that have the green one, blue one slides… it was also open, just I think 3 of them was closed, the lazy river was still closed also.

@Mr Mole When I was there a lot as a kid they had a Batman Forever stunt show...hahaha. Just got back from Hurricane Harbor actually, fun day. Lazy River is back open.
They are currently very low on lifeguards since they upped their training requirements. Thats why most of the slides and areas are closed so frequently now

Hmm, if you're wanting to do smaller coasters as well then Hershey would be my vote. Hurricane Harbor is a separate park ticket than Great Adventure, but Hershey includes both. Honestly, if the water park is the more important piece, Dorney would be my number one choice. Their water park is better than Hershey's AND it includes the normal park admission. You might not get the good quality family roller coasters that Hershey has, but you'll probably get a better water park experience.
@@GreatAdventureGuide I was just going to grab the Season pass because at that rate I get the admission and parking for just the normal ticket price so seperate ticket isn't an issue. Plus I wouldn't mind walking around and seeing the sites. Been to Hershey twice but never Dorney or Six Flags. We were going on a Monday and Dorney isn't open on the Monday in question so Six Flags it is. Plus interested in other things at Six Flags too like the Safari adventure.
@@apgrenus yeah if you’re going for a season pass then Six Flags is definitely the way to go! Do note that you need a reservation for the water park, but you don’t need a reservation for Great Adventure or the Safari anymore. You might want to consider getting a membership instead of the season pass so that it will last you into next season. They usually do a season pass sale around Labor Day which includes the rest of this season and all of next season, but that might not work with the timing of your water park plans. All things to consider!
My husband I were there yesterday and everything was close but the wave pool, tornado, the kids park and some slides but however some of the slides have a weight capacity! You have to weigh under 200 pounds and my husband and I experienced that embarrassment yesterday as well in which we left the park right after seeing as we couldn’t do any more the lazy river was also close so this video is correct!
It's so difficult to have thoughts when there's practically no reliable information out there. It's very unsettling given the log flume accident from just two weeks ago... and both of these rides just finished major refurbishments, so it's not like they've been completely neglected.
So I think when it hit the break run on el toro another train hit the one that was going into the station and the train that was about to go into the el toro station got tweaked off the track a little bit. So I’m guessing it’s the operators fault or just the hydraulics or the timing… and for the log flume I think it came off the track at the end and nobody was hurt on el toro derail and log flume THANK GOD

@Mr Mole from what i heard you do need to make a reservation for hurricane harbor starting on the 22nd, but thats all i know.

Short staffed! They are even starting to offer people extra money to work more hours.
I’m not sure how true this is but when we were there I heard that they don’t currently have enough employees to opening everything at the same time.

SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH EL TORO
A car on El Toro derailed. The last car. There is a train with 6 cars per train.
