Hello you lovely people! How are we all doing? I know I know.. how dare dad go on holiday.. he'll back next week lol. I seem to be getting all the brambles at the minute but loving this Oregon blade. We saw Norman today and will done the final visit for the new windows, so they will be getting made and take 4-6 weeks to arrive. Have a great weekend
Hi Ben and Family! .. Ben, Does that tool or blade you use mulch the brambles into the ground ? love, love, Loved the after, I breathed a sigh of relief myself!... I missed Dad too and the comedy.... You work so hard with such a good heart, I am proud I subscribed. .... keep up the great work.... Santa is watching👀 " the grind line " ....lol
I don’t understand why the neighbors just didn’t keep their side of the fence cut. Here in Sweden if something grows into your garden you can cut it even if it’s a branch of a tree
The neighbours should. I believe in the Uk, you are allowed to cut down plantation that intrudes into your property. Technically the cut branches and leaves belong to other side and you should offer them back. But in practice, no one cares.
Doesn't anyone ever come out and offer to help? Im An 80 year old woman and I don't think I could watch someone work so hard without doing something to help! Thank you for your kindness x❤
That Oregon Blade earned it's worth in this transformation, MVP of the day. You did a bang up job, the before and after pics are insane, I bet anyone who saw it finished couldn't believe it. Santa is watching, Theo, I saw him at North Pole with his feet up and cup of tea checking out the latest transformations and adding your family to his 'Nice List'. 😊
My neighbor and I share side yards. There are two trees on my property that shade both of us throughout the day. That said, I have them trimmed and thinned every year. I always tell him when I’m doing it and we discuss it. Essentially, they are shaped so that nothing is near or over his house and he still gets morning shade. In exchange he gives me fresh roasted coffee that he roasts himself. Life is good.
I’m 75 and got arthritis but I couldn’t have just sat back while somebody else was doing all the work. I would’ve tried to help in someway and definitely a cup of tea and a biscuit. I still keep my garden neat and tidy.
And I would have told you to sit down and point out where I might be going wrong or what to watch out for and I'd make you that cup of tea. There's a time, my lovely, when you get to be the boss while others do the work. You've earned it.
I want to find a person with your companion, integrity, and empathy. What wonderful person. You didn't want the animosity to continue so you helped everyone.
Ben, I’m a viewer from Canada and love your ministry. I will say your equipment is grossly underpowered though! I am encouraging your other viewers to contact Stihl UK to ask them to donate a pile of equipment for your work! God bless!
You and your Dad are doing such a wonderful thing for everyone. Not only are you helping the owners and neighbors but you are showing everyone what we should all be doing, helping one another in ways that we are able. Thank you for being such a great example

Oh that looked so satisfying! I'm 75 now and just over a year ago I was ill and incapacitated for most of the time right up until recently. The dreaded brambles took over my garden - and I mean took over! The whole garden became one big bramble patch. Watching this video made me wish I could clear it all as fast as this, but I'm winning and it's so great to see things as they once were - or very much as near as they were. Thanks for a great and encouraging video.
I can understand the neighbours' frustration. I don't know who's on the other side of that mess, but probably some issues going on there. Unfortunately EVERYONE has problems they're dealing with. I'd say "clean up your side of the yard", but life being what it is, after the third clean, I'd get fed up because it's creating more work for me on top of everything else I'm dealing with. Glad to see dad is taking care of himself. And that garden….I feel that the neighbors could have cut their side. All this neighbor fighting could have been avoided.
I had a fence spillover like this years ago. I trimmed the blackberries back to the fence in the spring then picked the berries that would grow over the fence in the fall. Was pretty disappointed when they finally cleaned their yard up. Work but worth it.
Truly excellent work Ben! Brambles are not fun, but you saved the yard and helped promote peace in the neighborhood. Well done. Hope your Dad is having a nice trip. Really enjoying the biking videos with the boys. Stay safe!

That was a very thoughtful solution to think of, to help others struggling with a spill-over from vines, etc. Amazing how well those brush blades handle such difficult growth. That home is going to have a huge recovery of space and perhaps visibility as well. 9:46, just realizing you are about to have a big Grime Line, you've almost cleared vines from the one side. A Grime Line still seems to work in various areas. It might be power washing, it can be the comparison between a mowed and unmowed section of lawn, etc. We tend to think of mowing or pruning places in a block, but knocking-back overgrowth of something as overgrown Blackberries is just as vital, as it can cause a large loss of usable space, is impossible to walk through and can cause physical harm from thorns. Fallen fence emerging from under vines is tending to be unexpected. This is a WOW job in success. Nice bike ride with Theo.
We’ve come to expect your very hard graft on these garden rescues, so top marks yet again Ben for not only the main garden clean-up, but keeping the neighbours happy too. The outros with your children are wonderful, they’re lovely, sweet kids. God bless xx

Good Job! That Oregon blade sure tore those vines up! It is sad that things like this happen. We bought a property that was over grown and 10 years in we have it almost cleared. vines, poison ivy, privet and we are leaving all the Oak trees and a few (large) cedars. We have 10 acres. We have cleared out a lot not much left to do. When we bought the house the grass had only been mowed in the front and about 15 ft back on sides and in back. The rest was about head high in some places. Big Cedar in front had the top broke out. A storm probably did that but we removed it too as it was too close to the house.

I'd be out watching, and providing tea and biscuits, as I do for all who come to me to do jobs, also probably annoying the hell out of you! You and your dad deserve real recognition, and I do enjoy your garden transformations.
@@debbiearthur6381 they grow everywhere here, admit we do suggest you don't eat them from roads cos of the fumes but where I live (which ain't that far from where this is filmed I'm only about a hour drive depending on traffic) there are literally loads of thickets of brambles (and I mean loads i couldn't even pick the ones clean outside my back gate let alone all the other thickets), they are really easy to grow, best grown in a tub though or they will take over the garden, a small cutting will take very quickly and the next year you can have loads of blackberries 😊
The amount of work you put in clearing gardens and properties is staggering, and sometimes brings tears to my eyes. Well done you, and your usual helpers 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I currently have the same issue with my neighbors- Admittedly she is a older lady, but she has 4 kids that visit her everyday ( more than capable of cutting the lawn for her) The brambles are so high that they are higher than the 6 ft fence. We have said to her plenty of times if she needs help then me and my husband will go round to cut it for her, but they honestly dont care . its the belief that if it doesn't affect them in anyway then why should they be neighborly.
Hi Ben, while we miss daddy Paul and his stunts it's nice to know he's enjoying himself somewhere in sunny Spain! At minute 8 it looked like you were fleecing a giant sheep! LOL! You tackled those brambles like a pro that you are. Suggestion: "check that bramble line out!" No episode is complete without the outro: what a joy to see Theo having a grand old time with his dad, moments he'll never forget!
I was critical of how you used the bladed trimmer until I saw this video. You really taught me a lesson! I have been searching for a wood mulcher to clean up heavy wood vines but haven't been able to find any. Your technique with the blade trimmer takes some time but works great. Thanks for the videos, and God Bless.😊
I started watching your channel to get information on how to use a powerwasher and watched the evolution of your channel. Starting out cleaning rugs and gutters has been very helpful. Every time I watch a new episode, you amaze me of your skills. I would like to commend you for work you do, but being able to gather a very dedicated group of patron.when you see the look on the faces of the people you help, it's heartwarming. When you hear the emotion in their voices, you have a great group of people to assist you in doing such good acts. I wish I could afford to join your patron, but you have my full support in what you do. Thank you for showing good. Caring deeds are still spreading in the communities, and you and your group are doing an inspirational job. Thank you.
Aww... tempted to change my member name to Santa! 😄 What a super cute outro... Theo's "hello" to the squirrel and also wanting to include Arthur and Sam 😊 Another brilliant transformation... unrelenting brambles and that looked like a huge area to tackle on your own. Hats off to you, Ben (once again!) That was a great wooden frame holding that sack up... never seen that done before... that's the tough bit on your own when the bag's flapping about and you're cream crackered! 🙌
Ben, dude! That was an insane amount of debris for you to cut down, rake & bag by yourself! You're such a good-hearted guy & I've never heard you complain a single time about any job! I wish you had some cousins, etc. (that are good people like you, work as hard as you, treat everyone with kindness & respect as you do) who live here in NC! I'd definitely want to get to know them, hire them for my jobs & recommend them to everybody I know! My philosophy is: If you're going to dream/wish for something, GO BIG or go home! I hope all of the neighbors involved in that "squabble" have calmed down & are responsibly taking care of their properties! Another great job Ben! 👍

The garden next door needs your help too 😊
Waiting on permission, fingers crossed
The amount of work you put in clearing gardens and properties is staggering, and sometimes brings tears to my eyes. Well done you, and your usual helpers 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wow!!! What a great transformation. You do a amazing job everytime. Hope to see your dad next week.
That was one wild and crazy garden. You did a great job Ben!!!
You are an amazing citizen of society!
Did you know that Santa is a subscriber! Bless Theo coming out with that lol. Dad will be back very soon for a good laugh!
Well done Ben thank you for your hard work. Sending love to you and your beautiful family 🥰
I'm laughing because I thought the same thing.
What does cream crackered mean ?
@@deborahgallagher-vu5hlknackered, done-in, absolutely exhausted
@@deborahgallagher-vu5hl "knackered" 😅
Yes do it love it, yes bless Theo and the way he sees the world. Cheers for the great comment
Вітаю ! Ви робите дуже добру справу ! Завдяки таким як Ви життя стає кращим ! Дякую. 💙💛❤
I really appreciate the banter and humor you have with your Dad never let that go ❤😊
Exellent travail! Bravo!! 👍🇨🇭
Briliant job. Miss dad, enjoy holiday! Branble city indeed-yikes! That oregon blade is FANTASTIC...chews through stuff
kinnel, good work but brambles grow back from any root that's left and I saw bindweed. I think salt, petrol or glyphosate was needed. Or all three!
I'd love you to show how you get rid of all the mess - do you take it to a recycling centre, and how ?
I'm always blown away at how you all can attack utter chaos and bring order to the scene.
You will never have to go to the gym for an upper body workout. Great job.
Wow, you definitely worked your socks off on that one, brilliant job as usual 👏 👍 👌 😀 🙌
I try my best! Thank you for watching Simi
What a HUGE difference. Hopefully he can keep that area mowed. ❤
Great Job!! I notice you've got all the right tools for the job! I especially like the bag supports and different rakes and grabbers 👍
Big well done as always Ben! I bet your dad was gutted to be by the pool with a cold drink!!
😂 that’s not what he said to me Richard! Lol.
Have a great weekend!
Right tools for right job well done
I love hard work, i can watch it for hours.
Brilliant video
The garden gnome in the corner. "What Year is it I haven't seen a soul in years and never thought I would see sunlight again" xD
I’ve been watching your channel for a few weeks, love your enthusiasm, endless energy and the fact you never judge anybody for getting into the mess they have, with gardens. Bless you for being such a generous spirit and brilliant role model for others.

You've doubled your subscribers in 10 months! Way to go! This show exemplifies the hard work and your loving care. I am proud of what you are accomplishing.
😢 Poor Ben! You did a titanic work, alone and with nobody to help you. You're so generous!
