Gotta love Billy and Royce. I love that he said “open to everyone!” Get politicians and media out of the way and people will get along better. What a great job they did! Kudos!
Rick, thanks for showing all of us the event! That looked like it was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed it! Would be awesome if all of those folks returned to the Bash as well, but they would need more room to hold everyone then I bet!
Being new myself to the Corvette community. What I have learned is that this car has truly tapped into the American spirit that unites us all as Americans. Rick you did a great job covering this amazing event by showing us that at the heart of it all...Its the people that make this a great car/country that we all share and love.
Thank you Rick for taking the time to acknowledge my C8. Sorry I missed you I was taking a tour in the museum. Love your channel and keep up the great content.
Rick, covering this event just put you over the top with me man. Thanks for all the cool interviews and great coverage of the Corvettes. I've driven Cadillacs for the last 22 years. I'm getting ready to retire next year and my gift to me WILL be a C8 Corvette! YOU MAY SEE A RETIRED FF FROM MICHIGAN TO MAKE AN ORDER!
just would like to say on behalf of windy city breeze vett club we had a blast this weekend meeting and greeting with all the vette people from all over the us good job to the organizers enjoyed talking to you rick
TOTAL MISTEP BY GM & NCM....MY STATEMENT ABOVE IN Marc G's chat stream: If one takes into consideration that the OFFICIAL banner at the event and the same wording presented on their website was/is specific to ONLY African Americans, it is not unreasonable to conclude this is an exclusive gathering, to Marc G's point (made tongue-in-cheek). As a Caribbean-Islander (Jamaica) and Corvette owner, I don't see how this approach is inviting to others, especially with the wording. Can we not just unite over the car? Will this group attend the NCM Bash with the same fervor? Or will this be the BASH 2.0. Marc...you did "hit a nerve" above. The event may be "open to EVERYONE" but it is not INVITING to everyone. Thus, this discussion. To me, Corvette IS American culture, period. I'm all for celebrating the multiple ethnicities that comprise the American experience (St. Pat's Day, Labor Day NYC, Octoberfests, etc.). Included in the American experience is the ONE sports car of her diverse people-- CORVETTE. I've seen the car unite people of all walks of life, beautiful. Ethnic backgrounds are not relevant in those moments; the CORVETTE is! GM (with its new logo of lowercase letters...telling), our beloved NCM and the new CACW have...in my opinion...drawn a line that could lead to the opposite of their well-intention. Instead of uniting JUST around the car, they've moved into other considerations irrelevant to CORVETTE. Oh well [SADLY]...tis the age in which we now live. Just the car friends, just the car. Much love to all.
RICK!!! Thank you for what you do for the Corvette community man! Great coverage! You captured stuff I didn't get to see... what an amazing weekend!!! Thank you to CACW, Corvette Museum, Royce, Billy and Coughlin for such an amazing weekend!!!! Nothing like the Vette wave face to face!
Good seeing our fellow Corvette Club from TX, "Mid-Tex Corvette Club" from Killeen, TX getting in on the CACW highlights. Very cool, and I see their club President- Sam, has upgraded to the new C8 70th Anniversary Edition, WOW!!! Jeff Garrett President Elite Corvette Club Austin, TX
Rick , I hope you could feel the love from your followers as you were walking around the cultural awareness event . I loved hearing all of the great comments you were getting . Keep doing what your doing , your making a huge difference in peoples lives , through this great car , Corvette ! Thank you 🙏. I’m going next year , I need to be part of this great event !
Awesome show, Rick! It is an honor to be part of the Corvette fellowship. It was great to see an American sports hero and one the fastest humans ever (Greg Foster), be a proud owner of one of the fastest production cars on the planet. Fun stuff!
It was a great time had by all at the show and the show you gave us. It is plain to see that it's not all about the money that drives you. God bless all you do for the brand CORVETTE 🙏🏾 nosale
It's nice to see a dealer show up at an event like that not only is he selling you a car to some people that's their dream but also he takes the time out to show his appreciation to people he new and some he never met before and to highlight this event👍👍
THANK YOU 🫡 Rick , Coughlin Chevy , & NCM for this event . Hopefully it will continue and GROW. It's about bringing people together to celebrate and love on this Amazing car . 1 LOVE 🤜🏾🤛 M.L.Kelly Sr. Raleigh N.C.
Rick, you did a great job capturing the tone of this event. It looked like a blast. Will try to attend it next year. The people were awesome. It is inspiring that no matter what color, race, etc you are, we can all share our love for this car and come together. Awesome!!
Kudos to the 1st ever Cultural Awareness Corvette Show & to Rick Conti for helping to expand awareness of the event. As an owner of a 2021 C8 & an African American I’m disappointed I wasn’t aware of the event but I look forward to attending future events straight from NYC
What an amazing event! The group of people, that put the all the hard work, that went into putting this together should be extremely proud. Also the creativity, that these Corvette owners have to make their car their own is mind boggling. As one of the gentleman stated no need for best of show or judging. Just show up and have fun.
Rick, Awesome show and turnout! Glad you could take us along! I'll be visiting the NCM in September again checking out the cars and hopefully catching some Z06 sightings! Be well -Shane
Enjoyed your coverage of the Cultural Awareness event. On the way home you mentioned the new feature of being able to open the rear window of the HTC. But it’s not exactly new. I was also able to open the rear window of my ‘71. Love your show!
Its video segments like this that highlight the overall ownership experience of Corvette ownership that will persuade me in choosing a vette for my next sports car. I want to use it as a way to bond with my son and events like this and the corvette comradery is just like no other. Thank you for this wonderful video.
Awesome to hear they had so many folks out it was bigger then the bash!! Looks like fun was had by all and wonderfully organized! Corvette is for everyone and brings us all together as brothers and sisters 👍 Thanks for your efforts Rick to be a part of it and still get back in time to put a Coffee with Conti together 🙌
What a special event to be captured forever on film via our beloved Rick Conti. ❤️ Mr. Conti, if there's a worldwide love affair for CORVETTE, then 'you' are the SOUL of the CORVETTE in which you proudly represent the worldwide 🌐 CORVETTE industry! Know this Mr. Conti 'Rick', that you are so loved, 💗 and respected 🙏🏾, worldwide 🌐 👏🏾 ... Blessings to you, Mr. Conti and your entire family, along too thoughs at the event, and to thoughs that weren't able to attend worldwide! On a personal note, I look forward to the 2023 event 😀 & pray 🙏🏾 that I have the opportunity to meet you in person along with so many other GREAT 👍🏾 HUMAN BEINGS 😊 ❤️. Be Well, Stay Well, ~ Ben G. / NYC
What a great video highlighting a really cool event!! Well done by the folks at CACW, NCM, GM etc and I’m sure many are thankful for sponsors like your dealership!
Great Vettes and peeps. Though I’m unsure what is the “cultural awareness” thing all about? I see amazing and different color corvettes. Why does a person’s race come into play?
No. don't like any comments unless they praise the blm ncm event as you rich folks get a z at Coughlin and I'll sit here and watch and say wow isn't that nice look 🙄 I'll never go to that Coughlin tell him to keep his Discrimination

Mike like you I was entertaining buying a ceramic grey c8. I was disappointed in the color after seeing it in person at Carlisle. There's not enough color in paint like the other manufacturers have produced, to often mistaken for white! So glad I ordered the Elkhart lake blue!
