Firing and hiring employees while applying for the GC process can be contradictory since it might suggest that the new hire is more valuable to the USA, potentially conflicting with labor certification principles. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Meta, and others that have downsized significantly can face challenges in sponsoring GCs. When seeking immediate sponsors, it's crucial to carefully evaluate companies based on their financial stability and revenue-to-employee ratios. These questions can often be addressed with HR or found online. Building professional connections can provide insights into a company's culture and business performance. It's also important to stay updated on finance and global news as disruptions in other countries can have ripple effects globally.
@Careerbolt I came to the USA this spring to pursue my masters in Information Systems. Back in India I have 2 years of experience in IT. I see many students who completed their MS are still unemployed and struggling to survive here. I'm planning to return to India. Because I don't have a plan of living here for more than 5 years. And being here for 5 years is of no use financially (I have a education loan of 40Lakhs) so it would take 1.5 - 2 years to clear the loan after my MS and I'll have to leave only with 1 year of savings. This is the best scenario if I get the Job. Recent under grads in India are blindly choosing US for MS and coming here with huge Loans are gonna suffer. Please make a video on this!
Exactly last 1 minute is realistic statement. since they have only 65k per year quota is there where as more than 200k folks from all countries come for masters here on top of working employees or employers in company's apply. for 5 people apply 1 will get selected in lottery.
Arey bhayya as you explained it is normal process. if you layoff how can you hire immediately. it is everywhere and every company that is the process. if they layoff they need to halt for few months. it is no big news.
Suspending for 1 year is unheard of. I would not be surprised if the suspension is extended for much longer. More and more layoffs will happen, and whatever has happened so far is just the beginning.
