      As you say, great to see smaller companies getting a chance 😃

    I fly JetBlue exclusively in the US, and we've made one trip to the UK on JetBlue since they started the service. I always book Even More Space, as I'm 6'6" tall and generally a large fellow - that's when I don't upgrade to Mint, which I tend to do whenever it is available.
    The question about flying a narrow body Gatwick to Boston struck me as funny as Boston is my home airport - and flights to Seattle or LA are nearly as long as the flight to the UK. Domestic flights in the US are pretty universally narrow bodies. Flying to the UK on an A321 is no big deal.

      Awesome insight! Really useful having those extra legroom seats at 6’6”, I’d really love to try Mint at some point also.
      Safe travels and hope to catch you on another vid ✈️

      You’re too kind! Thank you so much, looking forward to releasing loads more. Good experience with them - a decent choice across the pond. Would use again and better still, use their Mint (business class) if it’s a good price!

      @@Travelsbydreamer Agreed. You raise a good point about the appetite for smaller-bodied aircraft crossing the oceans. The surly crew seems to be the one blemish. Glad they were better on the return.

    Going to be doing Cleveland Amsterdam via Boston in October. I love JetBlue And their transatlantic service looks great. My first “narrowbody” transatlantic was when I was 4 years old on a Lufthansa 707. More recently, we’ve flown Play airlines (which was awesome) to Paris from Boston via Iceland and most recently, Aer Lingus nonstop from Cleveland to Dublin (also wonderful). Both were fantastic and from someone who prefers wide body service on long flights, his says a lot. I have no issues now with a flight like this though to somewhere like Dubai, maybe not. JetBlue seems to really step things up. Great video.

      It’s a great take on an interesting new way to fly long haul for sure. I’d love to try their Mint offering, perhaps something for the future!

    Really good flight report, thanks for uploading it. I'd have no qualms crossing the Atlantic on a narrow body aircraft, especially with JetBlue who offer a fantastic economy product for the price you paid. I'm really looking forward to the start of their EDI-JFK route. Finally, congratulations on the two year anniversary of your channel. I always find your videos are spot on- they tell us what we need to know but in a succinct way and are always a fair reflection of your journey. Thanks and look forward to the next anniversary of your channel ✈️

      Thank you so much on all fronts!
      An option from EDI will be absolutely ideal for the Scottish market. That’s their huge advantage I guess in being able to do point to point succinctly in a small format…the future of aviation many might argue with the smaller longer range jets…
      Here’s to lots more vids, looking forward to hearing from you in another soon! 😃

    Before 1970, every Transatlantic flight was on a single aisle narrow body aircraft, it’s not a big deal. I deliberately choose to fly on the magnificent Boeing 757 on Transatlantic routes while it’s still available.

    • @Travelsbydreamer
      @Travelsbydreamer  21 день назад

      That’s a very good point. Most of the worlds population weren’t flying then so quite the change up half a century on for many however.
      The 757 is a pretty awesome aircraft, would be keen to get back onboard soon!

    Looked a pretty good flight and how nice not to fly on a old aircraft, I'm still not sure I could do long haul on a small aircraft, but at the right price it's perhaps worth considering. Have seen review's on the mint suites and they look very good. It's a shame when a good experience is marred by some poor cabin crew but it seems that economy service on American carriers is below the standards set by VA and British Airways.
    The main meal though looked very good and now nice was it to be able to make the selection on the IFE screen and Free WiFi that was definitely a bonus
    Great review as usual.

      Yeah the narrow bodies aircraft thing will be a bit of an issue for some. Didn’t mention it on the review but on the overnight return, I actually couldn’t get a moments sleep as although the seats offered unrivalled legroom, the padding seemed very slim, especially on the back!
      Would be keen to try Mint. They were offering it in Boston on the return at the gate but the $699 just didn’t feel worth it that time!

    Do you know if you can take the earbuds you get with you after the flight?

    • @Travelsbydreamer
      @Travelsbydreamer  Месяц назад

      Yeah, indeed they were to take away and encouraged from memory as they can’t reuse them so if people take them they might be reused on another flight which helps the airlines 😊

    Gatwick is suitable than Heathrow, not worth flying from Heathrow as an low cost American Airlines delta and untied is worth it form lhr than JetBlue, JetBlue is low cost can fly to Gatwick, Luton might have them Manchester or other parts of the country, never fly JetBlue from or to Heathrow, from or to gatwick is more solution like me when I visit America for the first time I will use JetBlue from Gatwick only.

    • @Travelsbydreamer
      @Travelsbydreamer  4 месяца назад

      Yeah, I think Gatwick will work for some, it’s connections to London are really good however, for much of the country based west of London or north it’s a bit of a pain compared to LHR.
      As for JetBlue being a budget carrier, I never felt that at all. The fantastic onboard food offering twinned with aspects such as free WiFi were well ahead of much of the legacy competition on the route :)
