We are moving over to foundry for our upcoming actual play campaign (scheduled to start recording Dec 30). I will be getting the 250 level of your pateron to help me get set up at the beginning of the month
they are an awesome team, I am pretty sure they will help in quality. Maybe with some question on reddit in days you will receive same reply but it is not a bad idea rely on some experienced people to help you
We've got you covered. Although you may find the $100 level is more than sufficient for a month. Just be sure to ping @zephyr on my discord after you sign up. He will get you rocking and rolling... discord.gg/wgPbnfgJAJ
@@Baileywiki I will message zypher on Discord tonight or tomorrow and set up a time where I can go over with him what I need, that way I know what purchase to make on the first.
I mean, for a single month subscription ($8 USD) you can get about 3 years of connect from me. Same deal for a few other prolific creators. Then anything your game systems offer is the same cost regardless of your platform.
Hey all looking for a VTT mainly for better battle maps for my players we are nearly 100% in person and normally use a lot of ToTM but have a few younger players wanting to join, and want to include VTT into my games, will run on a 75” tv for battle maps and general games I’ve looked into roll 20 but few things on the free version seem limiting before I pay for a a sub would foundry be better? Players currently run sheets via BeyondDnD so integration would be awesome as well
DNDBeyond integration is super easy with Foundry. You'll need a month subscription to Mr. Primate's DNDBeyond importer just to get things moved over. There is another module by the famous Ironmonk called Monks Common Display that makes your one-monitor setup particularly magical. Everyone can stay on paper if they like. We've covered both of these modules on our channel before.
Honestly, Foundry is the most amazing TTRPG Platform, however just things like finding all the right beautiful tokens or these background sounds or things like that is so much work
It was great to see you cover basic funtionality before modules, thanks
Holy shit, a video that actually shows what I want to know! Thanks a ton!
Just here to say: keep going! You guys are great...

@@MrAlexDiste between this being intended as a show and us having only used roll20 before, I felt professional help was in order

Foundry is amazing -- great to see this!
is great, but it is lot of work if you dont have cash for premium content

Strong disagree, the standard functions are great and it's not hard to find maps and artwork
