Just found your channel and really enjoyed this video. The Banff region is probably our favorite place to go and we have been there 3 times in the past 5 years. EDIT- Just an FYI, in 2023 the road and parking area at Moraine Lake is CLOSED to private vehicles (exception to lodge guests). You can only get to Moraine lake if you reserve a shuttle with Parks Canada or on a private tour. One of these days I'll have to stay a night at Moraine Lake Lodge just because of the location but that's gonna take awhile lol. For me I had some of the same issues with Emerald Lake but I got my room there on sale for mid May so it was only around 150 USD a night and for that amount I thought it was worth the price even if the room was a pretty big let down vs the pictures online. I also enjoy places that don't have wifi / tv as it forces you to just leave that cursed phone alone for a bit. Although I admit I bring my portable speaker and we usually listen to lots of music. It's just so much more relaxing than being a slave to your screen. As for the BnB you stayed at I wouldn't mind the info. I stayed at Inn on the Canyon in Radium and enjoyed our days and even the drive over to it and wouldn't mind going back again and trying something new. It's so disappointing that one server was so bad to you guys, although I admit I cringe when I hear someone comment that someone is "racist"...I'm Asian myself but unless someone is overtly doing something racist I assume it's some other problem just because the accusation is such a heavy lift I don't care to toss it around unless I'm 100% sure and then some. Not having wifi definitely force to reconnect with your surroundings which we too appreciate but having a tv in the room would have been good for the night.
