    Thanks for this breakdown!!! I drove for 3 different lease purchases before and drove company. I believe where most of us mess up at is when we come into the lease purchase process thinking we should be making 2500 to 3k a week half of an owner op which isn’t bad thinking only problem is we forget we’re not the owners yet and every one has ups and downs even driving for company my money was never consistent sometimes I’ll make 1550 to 2000 a week sometimes more or less but the key difference you make is 1500 miles for 1800 a week before or after taxes is still better than driving by the mile and as a company driver as a company driver to make the same 1800 check you definitely has to do over 1500 miles in that week 😂 so thx again I’m interested but into the dry van area

  • @p.garza6
    @p.garza6 2 года назад +1

    The math is wrong on 29:24
    You made $1,125 in 1,500 miles
    1125/1500 = 0.75
    You made $0.75/mile..
    You divide the income by the miles not the other way around..
    Appreciate the video.. Great information! 👍

    going thru prequal with CRST right now, getting on with the flatbed div, what kind of truck prices are we talking? ive seen a few negative videos more positive but one constant is ppl saying they are knocking heads off on used trucks, just wanted to get your thoughts on that.

    • @sennetttransportservices9757
      @sennetttransportservices9757  2 года назад +4

      Scott,
      I am not sure what knocking heads off is. But I will tell you this. CRST will assign you a truck, from what they have available. When you get to the truck, do a VERY thorough inspection. The truck may not be "like new". However what ever you find wrong, get it into one of the CRST shops. And get the deficiencies fixed. I have 2 shops that I recommend ( OKC & Cedar Rapids) the rest of the shops really DON'T do good work.
      As for the pricing, that will depend on the truck yr, milage and so on. I would expect to pay around 40k to 50k when its all done.
      Hope I didn't scare ya off. Send me your recruiters name, I can reach out to them and get you my cell number so you can call me directly to go over your question alittle more in detail.

      Great Video! Important Question: I started a Brokerage in April. Were you able to Earn Well in Flatbed & still have some time to Broker Loads? I was told Flatbed is daytime & Van can be both. So, should I apply for Van to Drive at night & Broker when I can in daytime? Or, will I have time for Flatbed hours & still make Good Money, since Flatbed pays More? I’d truly appreciate to know how to make Driving & Brokerage work.
