Lets not be hypocrites, anyone who has been ill or injured and has taken medication or some surgical procedures has benefited from similar research as this. Don't demand an end without alternative, demand more oversight.

If this is not the highest level of torture, mental and physical, so I don’t know what it is… Hard to believe that in 2024, where we should know better and be more evolved in science, some labs are still allowed to do those barbaric practices with sentient creatures. If it was done to a human instead, the lab would be shut and the owners would be in jail for life. The problem with some humans, is to think that our lives are more valuable than any other kind of life in this planet. We still have a lot to evolve to deserve to be called civilized.
Far too many people overlook in the book of Genesis what God told Noah after the flood was over. There is an accountability factor here, as well.

If you're talking about jails, I agree with you, the atrocities of privatized jails is a plight on American society. However, these monkeys do not deserve to be bred into cages, to forever live in cages, and to be tormented, tortured then killed there. They're born innocent and have done no wrong, they're only there for corporate gains, under the guise of scientific pursuits. It's horrific.

That's a complex answer, but basically JOBS and MONEY; much like the way that election campaigns are funded by corporations, even though we can all see that that's totally wrong; how can that be going on? A corp is paying millions and maybe more to basically buy a candidates loyalty on whatever it needs supported. These tests always end in something similar to "tests were inconclusive, more testing is needed." Notoriously. This way the hardened scientist/researcher still has a job and there is still funding from usda, nih, nimh, et.al. Super short answer from someone who is not an expert; but ALF for life!
So simple: monkeys are primates and primates use to kidnap and kill other animals. On the other side we are primates too. So it all makes sense. As easy as that.

This brought tears to my eyes. The horrors that these animals go trough. A few years ago I saw a video about an organisation that saved orangutans. The orangutans layed on a dirty floor. Tide up by their spread arms and legs. And daily raped by the local men in Indonesia. That made me sick. I will make a donation to Peta. And on coming week is the week of Animals 💖 I am collecting for animals. The abuse that humans are causing to them has got to end now! They deserve to live their lives in their own healthy happy environments.

Anyone who would want them as “loved and cared for pets” is either ignorant and has no clue about the species at all or delusional so it’s very good that keeping them as pets is illegal. Mothers have to beat the babies senseless just to teach them how to behave in the troop!! They have hierarchy. Babies that eat first are killed by the alpha male! The King is first, then the Queen. Babies are LAST. A lot of people will go and they will try to intentionally feed the babies first and that gets them seriously hurt or killed. Depends on what "position" the mother is in. If she is low in the hierarchy, she can't do anything but watch and then go pick up her dead baby when the others are through with it. People will try to help the orphan babies, only to be forced to abandon them again because once they are no longer a baby, it don't matter how good they have been treated, nothing matters. They have to go abandon them again! Because of how they act! These things are NOT pets! The things happening in these labs are to make meds and search for cures for humans. As I posted a comment somewhere else, maybe this video, I cant remember, but this is all government shi!t! They WILL do what they want. If they can't do it on monkeys then they will do it on humans. Oh but it is illegal to do on humans. LOL yes I know this but trust me it happens anyway! We don't know why "he" would kill his whole family and then himself. Maybe "he" didn't. It goes deep. Way deeper then all of us put together sitting here watching a RUclips video that ain't even showing up the crumbs of what really goes on. I feel like there is some kind of fucked up correlation between abusing monkeys and wanting to hurt humans, hear me out. You can take almost any of these "Baby Monkey channels" on here there are literally thousands, and they're all the same basic thing. The channel 9 times out of 10 is somewhere where monkeys are seen as pests usually like Cambodia or places like that. Usually the titles and descriptions all read like English is the creators 17th language everything they wrote was put through a translator 100 times. The videos will always say something like "so sad, monkey dead, hurt monkey mom abused" shit like that, and even the uploading isn't the worst part, the worst part by far are the hundreds of thousands of comments on each video saying stuff like "Yeah kill the rat! next time make it drink antifreeze, kick it, cut it up." it's fucking shocking and scary. The reason I suspect a correlation between the baby monkeys and humans are because if the exact same video type was uploaded but instead of baby monkeys it was kittens, or puppies, or bunnies people would absolutely flip the fuck out on the video creator, but it just so happens when the abuse is being done to baby monkeys (the closest mammal related to humans) people act like sick fucks and love it. Don't believe me? go to any of these channels with names like "Monkey (inset random name)" and go through the comments, its like 98% saying something like "awesome" or suggesting how to kill them. and I've seen plenty where at the end of the video the monkey dies and tons of ppl in the comments will be saying "at least we get a happy ending".
