I like how they do a recap every season, because, even if in the Dragon Prince maybe millions of things do not happen that are difficult to remember, anyway over time there will be more and more seasons
As someone part of the Deaf community, I love Amaya, but why this season is no one else signing to her?! Yes, Gren can interpret, but the myth needs to die that deaf people can rely on reading lips! Even with context, hearing and non-hearing people trained to read lips can only understand about 30% of what is said! So why are all the characters not consciously including her into conversations?! Like, LOOKING at her! And signing for themselves to speak with her?! I want to scream at Callum, “YOU KNOW ASL! WHY AREN’T YOU TALKING WITH YOUR AUNT?! INCLUDE HER!” “JANAI! YOU ARE HER LOVE! SIGN WHEN YOU SPEAK TO HER SO SHE CAN UNDERSTAND YOU!” TDLR: please oh please, make the characters that love Amaya like family treat her like family. Be inclusive of her. She doesn’t have to accommodate to a hearing world. The world, her own family and friends must accommodate to her. As my Deaf grandma would say, “A Deaf person can do anything, but hear.” It’s just a bit obvious that the writers are hearing and haven’t spent enough time thinking for how a Deaf character lives in the world.
Soren getting paralyzed made him realize he was physically incapable of doing things, including the bad, which made him realize bad things were bad. If that makes sense. But it was a vital part of his character progression.
I hope s5 will reveal that Viren is responsible for the attacks on the human kings and queens to start the war from S3 finale. Even thou there's peace now, but it'll show how much more of a traitor he is then they thought. Maybe we'll also c Rayla get her parents and Runaan back, with Zym biting off his band too, and restore Runaan's missing horn. Oh, Oh, I still think since s1 that Viren must've soul transferred Harrow into his bird.
But Callum might not want Runaan to be freed as well, if he finds out that he was the one who killed his stepdad… That should be a very interesting plot thread to explore, like whether or not Runaan would be on board with the peace, or even if Callum would be ok with letting him out of the coin 👀
I was so excited to see my favorite characters again and now they (Corvus and Amaya) are trapped in a box 🥲 (only on episode 6, I hope we’ll see them again I really think they deserve more screentime)

What the hell happened in the three years since Season 3's finale? Did all the good writers resign or what?! 3 Seasons! 3! Each season better than the last in terms of writing and animation. So what the hell happened with Season 4 and onwards? They had three years to work out their drafts and story telling. One would think that with such ample time they would have honed their story to perfection. I mean, they did it the first three times. Season 1 was released on September 14, 2018. Season 2 on February 15, 2019 and finally, Season 3 on November 22, 2019 and after that a 3 year hiatus of sorts. With that amount of time, I thought to myself that the remaining seasons would be even better than the first 3, which which would have been amazing because Seasons 1-3 just kept getting better and better. then, the long awaited Season 4 came out. What the hell Wonderstorm? You had amazing potential. Was this a better season than 4? Yes. Was it good? Still no. The start of gang's plot is boring. Callum & Rayla now are weak. Rayla's development Nothing.
I cannot explain how much I love this series and I am so excited for the next season!

Oh! I thought Amaya must’ve been a mute character, because she responds to people’s voices, but she only uses asl.
I thought she was mute not deaf so she uses sign language to communicate. She actively seems to listen to everyone else
