Oooh..love your themes, finished shawls and Game of Thrones, Kath....those wings and teeth just like the dragons. Perfecto! 👌...just watched second clue...I think Im going to brave the brioche for the first time.😅Tutorial looks great and straightforward. Have a good weekend , young ladyxx❤
Twists and Turns was my first MKAL too, and my introduction to Stephen West, and like you, loved the process and the resulting shawl. Apart from the techniques I learnt, I learnt a great attitude towards knitting from Stephen too. His videos, and patience and healthy somewhat irreverent attitude to knitting, in not being too precious about it is so good.
I'm not knitting it, I'm not really a shawl knitter, but I am following along on Instagram as his shawls are always beautiful and I love to see how people put their own creative twists in them.
Oh my! It's the first time I'm watching your channel and I must say - it's almost like I'm watching my own shawl! My Shawl's theme is "winter party" and I see myself wearing it at new years and at my birthday in January. The colours are similar to yours. And do I have silver thread in my bubbles??? The answer to that is yes. 🥳 / from Sweden
I’m doing this year’s MKAL for the first time and I’m thinking my gauge must also be tighter than Stephen West as well. I didn’t do a gauge swatch but watching his accompanying RUclips video has me regretting my decision!
I loved it! Great idea Kath on doing this recap on the MKAL and I love the backdrop 😊
Thanks Sylvia 🥰 yes I thought I’d hang out in my Lady Cave today 😂
Love the fact that you have a theme for your mkals! It gives your twists and turns quite a special meaning. How fun!!!
Thank you Dany! 😊

I'm loving your mkal colours for this year but also your twist and turns shawl is gorgeous. I can't wait to keep up to date with all your clues 🥰

What a great idea to do this🥰 I’m not knitting a long this year but I follow closely
Wonderful! Thanks Hanne 💕

Yay, thank you! ☺️ Glad you liked it ♥️
I love your idea of a theme. My tradition is using Fiber Lily yarn.
Love any kind of tradition 💕 and love her yarn!

It’s such a fun project to see how everyone approaches it! 💕

How cool is that! I love that we can be on opposite sides of the world and both have the same inspiration 💕🩵

That’s okay - you could always go up a needle size at the start of a new section. I think it would work fine 🥰
