What went wrong with Rod? Uh, maybe too many women... Haha! I used to be a huge Rod/Faces fan when you were a wee baby. But I HAVE to say, Matt, that THIS version is by far the best!!! Better than "Rod baby" ( we used to call him that). Besides, in my opinion, Rod needed to reitire in 1990... His old material was great, a little on the very mature side, but everything after OUT of ORDER was zzzzzzzzzzz.... Sorry, Rod. I think the OG with the Faces was actually Ron Wood. Still, this is the best.

I think Ronnie Wood sang the "can-cans" verse. But other than that, I believe it was Lane.
Ron Wood sung it in its entirety. Lane and Wood wrote it. Lane released his version later.

Sorry, I go with the original. The roughness of Ronnie Lane's vocals (didn't Ronnie sing this one?)...yer voice is a little too nice. Still, not bad at all.
Nothing was wrong with Rod Stewart. He continued to reinvent himself and continues to be one of the most successful rockers ever. You guys are good but could only hope to get there. BTW that’s a Ronnie Lane song. Rod only covered it later
