@@cindysquirrelloffgrid9514 Thank you for sharing that. Every time I go out to the garden I get bit by deer flies and they take a chomp! Good information!
I believe I have a bunch of plantain in my yard and was considering it's uses and storage. I am gathering information this season to be ready to get serious about it. It is in my vid called Backyard Bingo - Name that Weed. lol. I wasn't certain it was plantain until I saw your video just now. I am going to double check on this and write out a plan. Hopefully I still have time to get to it, as I believe the things that grow around you are intended for your greater good. If Nature or God wants to bless me, I want to be aware and diligent :)
Thank you! Love the tip about splitting the stem. I have both broad leaf and regular plantain. Can i use both for making a salve? Thank you! Just subbed! ❤️
I am sorry I don't know the answer, wondering if it had something to do with the age of the leaf or the season in which picked. Thank you for your question, sorry I couldn't answer it though
Good morning!
thank you
I have to look around my yard. Thank you for showing this to us, Cindy. Stay safe and stay cool
Thanks, you too!
great use there
oh yes
We have some growing out here. Thanks!
if you get a bad bite when you're out on your walks, just pick a leaf, pop it in your mouth and give it a good chew then put it on the bite mark

everything has a purpose I think, we just have to figure out what it is. that is except mosquitos, they are just a joke. lol

I'm pretty sure they have the same compounds in them, thank you for stopping by
Maybe cut off the stems first & dry them separately from the leaf mass ? How long do the dried leaves keep good in a mason jar ?
I've got some that have been in a jar for a year and they are still dry
My dried plantain leaves are not that nice shade of green. Can you tell me why. I dehydrate carefully to not over dry. Thank you
