The second option haha. I won't drink it too quickly so it'll get a good chance to lager in the keg. Always good tasting how it changes over time. Cheers
Says in your notes "Fermented at 15 C. Raise the temperature just before final gravity is reached to 21C and hold there for 3-4 days" is that for the diacetyl rest or is that something you do with the nova lager yeast, Just got a pkt but not used it yet mate. Cheers
Thanks mate. Yeah I always raise the temp up to 21C and hold for a few days for a diaceytl rest and to clean things up. This works well with this yeast. It's pretty forgiving temperature wise, so you don't need to ferment quite as low as you would a regular lager yeast, having said that there's no reason you couldn't start lower. I just find 15C works well for me. Cheers
It's one like this. It's ideal for my small 10L batches. I don't exceed 8L when I'm doing the boil, which is the maximum recommended. So I add additional cold water to drop the temp for the 80C hopstand and also to make sure I get my 10L going into the fermenter. Just need to add a grain bag and you're good to go. I love that yeast, that beer sounds like it’s going to be lovely. Looking forward to the tasting cheers 👍🍻
Thanks mate. Hopefully one to enjoy as we welcome Spring! Cheers 🍻
Sounds great, mate. Are you planning to give it a long lagering period or just ferment, cold crash, carbonate and drink? Cheers!

Recipe looks good 👍 do you have a hop filter on your tap ?
Thanks. No filter on the tap. So I pass everything through the hop spider instead to filter. Cheers

What size (L) Urn are you using?
