great video! just a tip: mancini should overlap during the offensive gameplan (as you can notice I'm a roma fan and, watching their games, I noticed this particular). thanks for the good work :)
I noticed that for the Attacking gameplan, you had Cristante also on Cut Passing Lanes rather than Man Mark. Should both defensive midfielders be set to cut passing lanes in the attacking gameplan, or just whichever one is on balanced attack?
Always set instruction to cut passing lanes. Man mark makes you prone to through ball spam. Cut passing lanes always closes the gap to passes plus it puts you in a better position to counter attack.
that is a new background! You moved mate? Anyway, great video again! It actually is criminal that this is the first Jose Mourinho tactic on fifa 23 hahaha
Really liked this 1! Will def have to be 1 i try out sometime. Been working on a possession based 3331 system that is very narrow. 3 CBs, 2DMs, 1 CM, 3 CAMs and 1 ST. I know the obvious response is what about the wings and it's a good point lol but my DMs cover outside and it basically forces teams to play to the outside. I remember 1 of the very 1st vids I watched of yours where you made a comment about teams needing to come inside to score since they can't score on the outside and I've really stuck with that lol Against City in a 5 min half match I had the ball for like 70% of the time and had 180 some pases. Similar numbers for both of the other 2 games as well. Have struggled scoring (like any system for me lol) but we have been rock solid defensively. In the 1st 3 matches (playing as Leeds) we lost 0-1 to City, 0-1 to Villa and an embarrassing 1-1 pen loss to Burnley in the Cup lol both City and Villa goals were mistakes on my part defensively and not system or EA issues. I love good 3/5 back systems though and I'm a big fan of Mou so this will def be on my list to check out. As always appreciate the work!
Great video 👍🏾 what would you say is the difference between drop back and pressure on heavy touch? Would you say when dropping back, they don’t even attempt to win the ball even if they take a heavy touch or make a mistake?
Yeah basically. With pressure on heavy touch, you’ll notice that when the opposition starting playing backwards towards their own goal, your team will push up as a unit, which doesn’t happen on drop back
Another great video! Could you also possibly update on the Manchester United Erik ten Hag's tactics? A lot has changed since the World Cup break and Ronaldo's departure from the club.

That one was an error! Keep them both on man mark

Thanks man! That’s really good to hear. You should post it on the FIFA Tactics subreddit when you feel you have a completed version!
Does Sobakken and El shaarawy play the same role as Pellegrini and Dybala?
Nice video! I still think mourinho plays anti football but you can't deny the points they gain with this formation
Yeah 100%👊🏻
